As a&nbsp;<strong>Mechanical Engineer III</strong>, you’ll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team.&nbsp;<span style=\"color: black;\">The Mechanical Engineer III demonstrates strong technical expertise in mechanical and electromechanical systems. They lead complex problem-solving efforts, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the full product development life cycle.</span></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span><strong>Product Support:</strong> Provide support and guidance across the entire product development cycle, from concept to validation and release. Ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and manufacturing standards. Manage root cause analysis, troubleshoot production problems, and assist in RMA analysis.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span><strong>Simulation &amp; Technical Analysis:</strong> Apply mechanical knowledge to design and analyze components and systems. Conduct stress and strain evaluations, tolerance analysis, and validation testing. Use engineering tools and simulations to solve complex design challenges.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span><strong>Design &amp; Documentation:</strong> Create mechanical designs from concept to production using CAD tools. Ensure accuracy and completeness of engineering schematics and documentation. Proficient knowledge of GD&amp;T principles and their application to engineering drawings.</span></li><li><span><strong>Supplier Communication:</strong> Communicate directly with suppliers to make course decisions and coordinate manufacturing. Collaborate with external partners and internal model specialists to resolve component issues and ensure production readiness.</span></li><li><span><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration:</strong> Coordinate with project managers, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders. Use tools to manage documents, track progress, and support team communication.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span><strong>Research &amp; Technology:</strong> Drive mechanical testing and validation efforts, ensuring robust methodologies and accurate execution. Analyze complex data, compile comprehensive reports, and present actionable insights to influence design decisions and drive innovation.</span></li><li><span><strong>New Product Design:</strong> Oversee the creation of new products by developing mechanical concepts and refining designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability. Assist in prototyping development, design validation, and participate in design reviews with cross-functional teams.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span><strong>Continuous Improvement:</strong> Drive Mechanical Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for electromechanical subsystems. The lead will identify potential failure modes, assess risks, and recommend design or process improvements to mitigate oversight.</span></li><li><span><strong>Technical Mentorship:</strong> Mentor and guide more junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and drive brainstorming sessions.
