    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>PRIMARY RESPONSBILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepare equipment for repairing by pressure washing, blasting, painting etc.</li>\n <li>Check all structural and mechanical components for defects</li>\n <li>Make any necessary repairs and replace broken parts</li>\n <li>Calibrate equipment and paint exterior surfaces</li>\n <li>Assist in shipping and inventory related matters</li>\n <li>Assist in training new shop personnel</li>\n <li>Provide assistance to others in difficult repair tasks</li>\n <li>Knowledge of rig floor and pressure control equipment</li>\n <li>Perform other work related tasks as assigned</li>\n <li>Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures​​​​​​​</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>SKILLS &amp; EXPERIENCE REQUIRED</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 4 years heavy equipment manufacturing or repair experience</li>\n <li>Minimum 4 years hydraulic experience, either in manufacturing or repair</li>\n <li>Ability to read electrical schematics</li>\n <li>1-3 years experience with hydraulics</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>REQUIRED SKILLS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Mechanically inclined&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Excellent people skills with the ability to be a team-player&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Great verbal and oral communication skills</li>\n <li>Physically able to stand, bend, lift items over head, and crouch for short periods</li>\n <li>Ability to stand/walk for up to 12 hours per day</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>COMPETITIVE BENEFITS:</strong>&nbsp;(visit usbenefits.nov.com for more information about our benefits offerings)</p>\n<ul>\n <li>401(k) Retirement Plan – NOV matches every dollar up to 5% of base pay and overtime for every dollar you invest.</li>\n <li>Competitive medical plans that are effective your date of hire.
