    "description": "<p>Open:                          June 2025</p>\n<p>Duration:                     Summer 2025<br>Job Title:                     Workforce Training Intern</p>\n<p>Supervisor:                  Workforce Training Manager</p>\n<p>Requirement:              Must be currently enrolled in college</p>\n<p>Employment Status:   Full time, non-exempt      </p>\n<p>Regular Hours:            32 hours per week</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Overall purpose and objective of this position:</span></p>\n<p>The purpose of this internship is to introduce the student to current workforce practices at the Port of Morrow. During the internship the student will be assisting with a wide range of events, marketing campaigns, and build relationships with community and regional partners.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Major responsibilities: </span></p>\n<p>Summer Workforce Training Events</p>\n<ul>\n<li><br>Assist with planning and implementation of Nuts, Bolts, and Thingamajigs Youth Manufacturing Camp. (Certificates, name cards, thank you cards)</li>\n<li><br>Develop a contact list for teachers participating in the Educator Externship including both participants and businesses.</li>\n<li><br>Work on developing Career Day including developing a spreadsheet with industry contacts and student interest.</li>\n<li><br>Coordinate Columbia Works Professional Development sessions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Update Industry Job Postings</p>\n<ul>\n<li><br>Keep an updated list of job postings</li>\n<li><br>Update weekly social media posts on job openings</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Assist with Morrow County Internship Program implementation</p>\n<ul>\n<li><br>Build master spreadsheet with contact information</li>\n<li><br>Update paperwork as needed</li>\n<li><br>Communicate with school and business partners</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Columbia Works Internship Program</p>\n<ul>\n<li><br>Meet the Intern highlight</li>\n<li><br>Video Project</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Skills</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br>Microsoft Word and Excel</li>\n<li><br>Strong written and verbal skills</li>\n<li><br>Outgoing and willing to work with people of all ages</li>\n<li><br>Strong attendance and work ethic background</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Application Process</span></p>\n<p>Application materials required no later than April 14, 2023.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br>Port of Morrow Application</li>\n<li><br>Resume</li>\n<li><br>Letter of Interest</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>",
