    "description": "<h2>Opportunity</h2>\n<p>PeopleTec is currently seeking a<strong> Software Engineer</strong> to support our <strong>Huntsville, AL</strong> location.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are seeking a software engineer interested in joining an award-winning company and working with cutting-edge missile defense modeling and simulation technologies. The selected candidate will be a member of a dynamic Huntsville-based team working on state-of-the-art system-of-systems HWIL frameworks and blending engineering and software skills. This is a full-time, on-site position.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Duties Include</u>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Writing programs using C++, Java, or similar languages</li>\n <li>Creating and running unit tests</li>\n <li>Developing software documentation</li>\n <li>Creating and running automated software builds and pipelines</li>\n <li>Collaborating with stakeholders and Government customers</li>\n <li>Working within an Agile team environment including program increment planning, iteration planning, feature and story development, sprint planning, and iteration retrospectives</li>\n <li>Participating in demos for the team and program sprint reviews</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><u></u><strong><u>Required Skills/Experience</u>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficient in C++</li>\n <li>Experience with GitLab/Git for software configuration management</li>\n <li>Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system</li>\n <li>Experience programming network connections, e.g., message generation, formatting, UDP, and TCP/IP interfaces</li>\n <li>Must be a U.S. Citizen</li>\n <li>An active DoD <strong>Secret</strong> clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active <strong>Secret</strong> clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Education Requirements</u>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree from accredited college in related discipline with 1+ years professional experience; or Master’s degree with 1 year professional experience; or PhD with no experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Skills</strong><strong>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiar with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)</li>\n <li>Familiar with Jira or similar issue tracking and agile project management tool</li>\n <li>Experience with Agile Scrum</li>\n <li>Experience with Java and user interfaces</li>\n <li>Familiar with multi-core and multi-threaded programming</li>\n <li>Familiar with Missile Defense Agency systems</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong><em>People First.
