    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The primary purpose of the Food Service Worker position (Retail Services) is to assist in station set-up, serving food to staff, students, and visitors in retail services in a professional efficient manner; and to maintain an organized and clean serving/dining environment.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p></p>\n<strong>What You’ll Do</strong>  \n<ul>\n <li>Delivers patient‑centered service by maintaining a friendly, safe, and respectful environment while modeling Service Excellence.</li>\n <li>Communicates clearly, resolves customer concerns promptly, and maintains professional composure.</li>\n <li>Works collaboratively to meet or exceed service expectations and customer service score targets.</li>\n <li>Sets up food stations, prepares orders, and serves customers efficiently in Retail Services.</li>\n <li>Performs cleaning and sanitation duties and handles food according to all applicable health codes and Joint Commission standards.</li>\n <li>Provides superior customer service aligned with UH’s Mission and Five Star Service Program; supports catering and other retail venues as needed.</li>\n <li>Adheres to UH compliance standards, including Corporate Compliance, Code of Conduct, and Conflict of Interest policies, and stays current on relevant laws and regulations.</li>\n <li>Performs additional related duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>What You’ll Bring</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred. </li>\n <li>Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently to perform the duties of the position is required.</li>\n <li> Effective verbal and written communications.
