We are dedicated to supporting, growing, and inspiring our team. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Ready to become a Viking?</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We’re currently seeking a motivated individual to fill <strong>Machine Operator</strong> positions in <strong>New Paltz, NY.</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Ready to become a Viking?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Both shifts open, team works Monday to Friday, 1st shift: 7am to 3:30pm 2nd shift: 3:30pm to 12am</li>\n <li>$19 to $23 an hour depending on experience.</li>\n <li>Medical</li>\n <li>Dental</li>\n <li>Vision</li>\n <li>Company sponsored Health Savings Account (HSA)</li>\n <li>401k with match</li>\n <li>Paid Vacation and Sick Time</li>\n <li>Life Insurance</li>\n <li>Long Term Disability Insurance</li>\n <li>Pet Insurance</li>\n <li>Semiannual profit sharing</li>\n <li>Training Programs with the Council of Industry</li>\n <li>Growth from within the company</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Setting up and running high speed manufacturing equipment</li>\n <li>Leading team members to meet the machine's production and quality goals</li>\n <li>Monitor and control machines on a daily basis</li>\n <li>Adjusting machine parts as needed to ensure proper speed, pressure and amount of material for quality production</li>\n <li>Leads team in daily cleaning and maintenance of the machine</li>\n <li>Make sure the work environment remains uncluttered, clean and well-maintained to ensure safety</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>The ideal candidate</strong> will either have prior printing machine experience or the ability and passion to learn on the job. We take pride in giving our employees the opportunity to grow and develop, so we encourage all candidates to apply!</p>\n<ul>\n <li>1 to 3 years of expereince working in manufacturing</li>\n <li>1 to 3 years leading machine teams and meeting production goals</li>\n <li>Good mechanical abilities with basic math skills</li>\n <li>Willingness to work on multiple pieces of equipment</li>\n <li>Must be able to read production specs and measure to the 16th of an inch</li>\n <li>Must have basic computer skills and the ability to learn how to use new programs</li>\n <li>Prior experience working with inks and PMS/GCMU colors preferred</li>\n <li>Experience operating a high-speed printing machine preferred</li>\n <li>Must have the ability to adhere to policies and standards</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift 50 lbs</li>\n <li>High school degree, GED, or equivalent working experience</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Company Website</h2>\n<p>https://vikingpackaging.com/</p>\n<h2>Company Profile</h2>\n<p><strong>Viking Packaging </strong>has specialized in the manufacturing of corrugated packaging and providing logistical solutions to its clients, for the past 53 years.
