The ideal candidate will be an expert in commissioning, with the proven ability to lead and contribute to projects in a way that drives our mission and vision. </span></span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Serving as the Commissioning Engineer/Agent, you will commit to visiting jobsites as needed and working collaboratively with our Project Managers. The Commissioning Engineer/Agent will report to the Vice President of Engineering. <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">This opportunity is available at either the Pittsburgh or Portersville office (Butler County).</span></span></p>\n<p><span> </span><span><em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Commissioning Engineer/Agent Priorities</span></em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Lead and manage the overall commissioning processes and commissioning team</span></li>\n<li><span>Develop, update and maintain project commissioning plans, schedules and commissioning workflows</span></li>\n<li><span>Review, approve, and manage commissioning plans, procedures, checklists, and related documentation</span></li>\n<li><span>Coordinate commissioning activities with contractors, engineers and project management teams</span></li>\n<li><span>Review equipment and systems submittals for commissioning related requirements</span></li>\n<li><span>Conduct commissioning team meetings and participate in design reviews</span></li>\n<li><span>Perform field inspections to verify compliance with Construction Documents and provide corresponding reports</span></li>\n<li><span>Track and log commissioning issues, deficiencies and corrective actions</span></li>\n<li><span>Develop, witness and document functional test procedures</span></li>\n<li><span>Collaborate with engineers and contractors to troubleshoot system issues</span></li>\n<li><span>Verify completion of owner training and ensure training documentation is provided</span></li>\n<li><span>Validate pre-functional checklists, start-up documentation and system readiness for testing</span></li>\n<li><span>Support review of control sequences and integration testing (BAS/controls)</span></li>\n<li><span>Conduct seasonal or deferred testing as required</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Here's What You'll Need</span></em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Minimum 8+ years of experience through practical work as a Controls Technician or HVAC Tradesman, and</span></li>\n<li><span>Minimum 5+ years of experience in building commissioning through various markets (commercial, industrial, schools, healthcare, etc.)</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and specifications.</span></li>\n<li><span>Strong verbal and written technical and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with owners and key project partners</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Experience with ASHRAE, BCxA, and/or PECI Cx and RETRO-Cx procedures and protocols a plus</span></li>\n<li><span>Excellent technical and analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and make sound engineering judgements</span></li>\n<li><span>Valid driver’s license and willing to travel at least 50% of the work week</span></li>\n<li><span>Solid understanding of work site safety risks and adherence to appropriate protocols</span></li>\n<li><span>Physical requirements: Must be able to climb staircases, climb/carry ladders, walk narrow walkways, crouch, kneel, and stand for extended periods.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em><span>WHY WNA</span></em></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em><span>Financial Wellness and Professional Development</span></em></span></p>\n<p>Our firm continues to thrive in an ever-competitive industry where reputation matters.
