This role operates at a deep technical level, driving modernization efforts, improving system performance, and ensuring applications integrate seamlessly within the enterprise ecosystem.</p>\n<p>The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on development expertise with architectural thinking, modernization experience, and the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both engineering teams and business stakeholders.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><br><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Technical Leadership and Delivery</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop high-quality code aligned with sprint commitments and enterprise standards.</li>\n<li>Lead modernization initiatives, including migrating legacy .NET applications such as .NET 3.5 systems to .NET Core.</li>\n<li>Break apart monolithic applications into scalable microservices architectures.</li>\n<li>Design robust, scalable, and highly available systems that support evolving business needs.</li>\n<li>Ensure applications follow security-first principles to protect customer data.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with other architects to align designs with enterprise architecture standards.</li>\n<li>Produce architectural diagrams and system representations to clearly communicate solution designs.</li>\n<li>Present technical roadmaps and architectural decisions to engineering teams and stakeholders.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Database and Performance Optimization</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Write advanced SQL queries and optimize performance using indexing strategies and query plan analysis.</li>\n<li>Refactor legacy systems by moving business logic out of stored procedures when appropriate.</li>\n<li>Create and maintain DDL scripts and stored procedures as needed.</li>\n<li>Ensure data integrity, scalability, and performance across relational and non-relational databases.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Cloud and DevOps</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design and deploy solutions in Microsoft Azure, leveraging cloud-native services.</li>\n<li>Work with Azure DevOps pipelines and tools such as Octopus for CI/CD automation.</li>\n<li>Apply DevOps best practices to improve deployment reliability and speed.</li>\n<li>Experience with AWS is valuable, but strong Azure expertise is required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Full-Stack Development</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop backend services using C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework, Web APIs, and service-based architectures.</li>\n<li>Build and support modern front-end applications using frameworks such as Angular, React, and Vue.js.</li>\n<li>Demonstrate proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js environments.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Mentorship and Team Development</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mentor junior engineers through pair programming, code reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and technical discussions.</li>\n<li>Delegate work according to team members’ strengths and development goals.</li>\n<li>Provide input for performance evaluations and identify training opportunities.</li>\n<li>Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Qualifications</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.</li>\n<li>8 to 10 years of software development experience with technical leadership responsibilities.</li>\n<li>2 or more years of experience creating technical roadmaps and presenting architectural solutions.</li>\n<li>Strong full-stack C# development experience within the Microsoft technology stack.</li>\n<li>Proven experience migrating legacy .NET systems to modern architectures.</li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience decomposing monolithic applications into microservices.</li>\n<li>Advanced SQL skills including query optimization, indexing strategies, and performance tuning.</li>\n<li>Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and Octopus.</li>\n<li>Experience working with legacy technologies such as VB.NET is valuable.</li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with Angular and React, with exposure to Vue.js preferred.</li>\n<li>Strong Azure cloud development experience required.</li>\n<li>Experience in AWS is a plus, but not a substitute for Azure expertise.</li>\n<li>Experience designing and documenting system architecture using diagrams and formal representations.</li>\n<li>Experience in Agile environments and DevOps practices.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Skills</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of VB6, MS SQL Server XML, XSL, ETL, Web Services, SOA, ASP.NET MVC, PowerShell, NoSQL and object databases.</li>\n<li>Azure cloud certifications preferred.</li>\n<li>AWS or Google Cloud certifications are a plus.</li>\n<li>Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries is desirable.</li>\n<li>Behavioral
