What you'll do:
In this role, you will program and operate Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMMs) and other advanced metrology equipment to perform dimensional inspections of aerospace components. You will verify that all measurements meet drawing requirements, GD&T specifications, and AS9100 quality standards.
You will provide end-to-end metrology support, from new product introduction through routine inspections and root cause investigations, playing a key role in the development and delivery of cutting-edge aircraft systems. This is an opportunity to work hands-on with next-generation technology and contribute directly to the safety, performance, and reliability of aircraft shaping the future of aviation.
Required qualifications:
Experience as a CMM programmer, Quality Engineering Technician, or similar role within a machine shop or manufacturing environment
Experience with Hexagon PC-DMIS, or Polyworks software
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, and quality control systems
Proficient in using a variety of precision measuring hand tools (micrometers, calibers, pin gages etc)
Experience with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, AS9100)
Preferred qualifications:
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to address complex quality issues
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively across teams
Detail oriented and committed to continuous improvement
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
