Palletizes, stores, inventories, and loads product for shipment in a manner to guarantee quality and safe product to the customer. Unloads incoming materials.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>SCHEDULE:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>7 pm to 7am  Straight Nighshift Only</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Work: Monday Tuesday; Off: Wednesday Thursday; Work: Friday Saturday and Sunday</p>\n<p>Off: Monday Tuesday; Work: Wednesday Thursday; Off: Friday, Saturday and Sunday </p>\n<p>Repeat</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE:</p>\n<p>· High School diploma or equivalent</p>\n<p>· No experience required, however work experience in warehousing/packaging, food grade processing, or agricultural processing is preferred</p>\n<p>· Forklift certification is required but may be obtained after hire</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:</p>\n<p>Must be self-motivated and show a willingness to learn</p>\n<p>Computer knowledge (Microsoft Office, EMaint., SAP, Velocity, etc.)</p>\n<p>Ability to multi-task</p>\n<p>Ability to professionally interact and communicate with others</p>\n<p>Good written and verbal communication skills</p>\n<p>Strong teamwork and collaboration skills</p>\n<p>Mechanical aptitude and/or a willingness to learn how to troubleshoot mechanical issues</p>\n<p>Use of required personal protective equipment when in the manufacturing environment</p>\n<p>Working around large manufacturing machines and equipment</p>\n<p>Other general equipment used at an industrial site (i.e. hoist, pallet jack, freight elevator, etc.)</p>\n<p>Ability to use lab analytical and measurement instrumentation</p>\n<h2>Working Conditions / Physical Requirements</h2>\n<p>WORKING CONDITIONS: Fast paced manufacturing environment working in a plant setting. May perform activities in an environment containing hazardous elements and requiring safety awareness and adherence to all safety policies and guidelines. Work must be performed in a safe manner for personal protection and for the protection of other team members. All safety procedures, procedures described in SOPs, JHAs, and support of the ISO standards in all functional areas must be followed, enforced, and strictly complied with.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</p>\n<p>•Sitting, standing, walking, repetitive use of hands/arms/legs, and eye/hand coordination for 8+ hours a day•Frequent bending, reaching overhead, crouching, climbing ladders, balancing, pushing or pulling•Occasional lifting of 75 lbs. or less•Frequent lifting of 55 lbs. or less•Ability to operate general manufacturing powered equipment and tools•Ability to wear respirators according to respiratory protection program</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>•Safety, Environmental, & Quality Compliance</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Utilize safe work habits and follow all policies and procedures</li>\n <li>Make sound decisions while not compromising safety, environmental or quality standards</li>\n <li>Turn in any hazards as they are identified to get them corrected as soon as possible</li>\n <li>Attend regularly scheduled training sessions to stay current on all compliance initiatives</li>\n <li>Assist in the preparation of Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)</li>\n <li>Maintain all ISO Standards in all areas of work within the department</li>\n <li>Maintain Occupational Health and Safety Management System</li>\n</ul>\n<p>•Packaging, Warehouse and Record-Keeping Duties</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Monitor and control packaging process within established parameters</li>\n <li>Perform and control product sampling and deliver to Quality Assurance</li>\n <li>Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning of process equipment, and housekeeping</li>\n <li>Learn and operates forklift, \"C\" zone duties, operate bag line, container bag, and fiber drumline in the \"A\" zone</li>\n <li>Learn how to monitor and manage hopper levels</li>\n <li>Have open communication with fellow workers, supervisor, and outside departments</li>\n <li>Learn GMP measures and practices</li>\n <li>Learn and practice First in First out (FIFO)</li>\n <li>Understand when to adjust VFDs on the feed conveyors</li>\n <li>Follow instructions as given with an ability to troubleshoot as needed.
