We are a passionate, global, and fast-paced team working with several strategic partners and are committed to enhancing the overall agility and survivability of the modern warfighter and tactical operator.<br></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">THE OPPORTUNITY</span></p>\n<p>Performs, evaluates and reports all ballistic testing activities for existing Galvion products as well as non-ballistic incoming/in process inspection. This position will ensure that testing timelines are met; results are well documented and reported in appropriate format and timely fashion.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING</span></p>\n<p>• Perform ballistic testing on existing Military products and received goods in a timely manner to support production needs.</p>\n<p>• Perform non-ballistic testing on Galvion products and received goods in a timely manner to support production needs.</p>\n<p>• Evaluate test results for compliance and indicate test status on production material.</p>\n<p>• Prepare (measure, mark, assemble) helmets submitted for ballistic and non-ballistic testing.</p>\n<p>• Ensure all lab equipment in the lab is appropriately maintained and verify calibration status prior to use.</p>\n<p>• Monitor all necessary lab supplies and tools inventories, report to supervisor when additional supplies are required.</p>\n<p>• Develop strong knowledge and understanding of Microsoft office and its use as it pertains to ballistic and non-ballistic testing and reporting.</p>\n<p>• Develop strong understanding of standards and specifications for non-ballistic testing.</p>\n<p>• Develop understanding and use of FARO arm in conjunction with PolyWorks software to analyze product and report accordingly.</p>\n<p>• Develop strong understanding of reloading components and their application as it pertains to ballistic testing and lab maintenance.</p>\n<p>• Develop strong knowledge of standards and specifications which relate to the testing of production materials.</p>\n<p>• Ensure all safety requirements are followed at all times.</p>\n<p>• Ensure work area is clean, safe and organized at all times.</p>\n<p>• Perform incoming and in process inspections per inspection guidelines.</p>\n<p>• Maintain accurate documentation of all test results and insure proper paperwork is filed.</p>\n<p>• Release components tested per processes and procedures from incoming inspection.</p>\n<p>• Provide recommendations for improving quality of process and components.</p>\n<p>• Complete Non-Conforming Reports as required.</p>\n<p>• Ensure that all duties are performed in a timely manner consistent with applicable quality, safety guidelines and procedures.</p>\n<p>• Perform visual inspection of armor products throughout the production process as required.</p>\n<p>• Perform other duties as assigned.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED</span></p>\n<p>• College or CEGEP degree in a technical discipline preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.</p>\n<p>• Experience with ballistic testing, loading ammunition, and the storing of weapons and ammunition.</p>\n<p>• Experience in manufacturing and/or laboratory environment preferred.</p>\n<p>• Computer literate, proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Project specifically).</p>\n<p>• Mechanically inclined with electrical hardware knowledge.</p>\n<p>• Position requires a person who is meticulous and quality conscious;
