    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><br></p><p><strong><u>Job Summary:</u></strong></p><p>The Child &amp; Family Advocate / MDT Coordinator provides direct, trauma-informed advocacy and support to child victims and their non-offending family members and coordinates the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) response to suspected child abuse/neglect. This dual role ensures families receive compassionate crisis intervention, case navigation, and access to services while fostering timely, collaborative investigations and service planning among partner agencies.&nbsp;The Advocate/MDT Coordinator serves as a primary point of contact for families from intake through case closure and ensures services are delivered in compliance with VOCA program guidelines, agency policies, and ethical standards.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Job Responsibilities:&nbsp;</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide crisis intervention, emotional support, and ongoing advocacy to child victims and non-offending caregivers impacted by crime.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Conduct intake and needs assessments to determine victim eligibility and service needs&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Educate victims and caregivers about their rights, available services, and the criminal justice process in a trauma-informed and developmentally appropriate manner.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Accompany and support victims during forensic interviews, medical exams, and court proceedings.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Coordinate referrals for counseling, medical care, housing assistance, transportation, and other VOCA-allowable services.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain consistent contact with victims to provide follow-up services and assess ongoing needs.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Document all services accurately and timely&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Serves as primary contact for the MDT: Schedule and facilitate MDT meetings, case reviews, and planning sessions for 5 counties</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Build and maintain collaborative relationship with law enforcement, child protective services, medical providers, mental health professionals, prosecutors, and community partners.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Track and monitor cases through referral, investigation, intervention, and follow-up.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist with data collection, outcome tracking</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participate in ongoing education</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>Required Qualifications:&nbsp;</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in social work, psychology, human services, criminal justice, or a related field.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience providing direct services to victims of crime, children, or families affected by trauma.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Knowledge of trauma-informed, victim-centered advocacy principles.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong documentation, organizational, and time management skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to maintain confidentiality&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to work collaboratively with MDT partners&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p></div></div>\n",
