This includes curriculum development, facilitation of OSHA/Flaggers and other industry-recognized certifications, and collaboration with jail-based staff and employment services. The instructor must be dynamic, engaging, and results-oriented, with a strong command of subject matter and the ability to motivate participants.</p><p style=\"margin:.05pt 0in .0001pt 9.0pt;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height:115%;margin:.05pt 11.15pt .0001pt 7.0pt;\">The HSI collaborates with cross-functional teams (i.e., education, job placement), supervisor, and senior leadership to monitor and track performance and find solutions to maximize outcomes for participants. This is a hands-on, relationship-driven role that requires strong engagement skills, effective case management and wraparound services competencies, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to providing excellence in service delivery.</p><p style=\"line-height:115%;margin:.05pt 11.15pt .0001pt 7.0pt;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height:normal;margin-bottom:4.0pt;text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,sans-serif;\"><strong>Your Responsibilities Include:</strong></span></p><ul><li><strong>Effective Engagement &amp; Individualized Services</strong><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Provide Training Delivery &amp; Curriculum Development to participants enrolled in the program<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Facilitate certified hard skills training, including OSHA/Flaggers, building maintenance, and construction.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Develop and maintain training curriculum and materials using textbooks, handouts, workbooks, and web- &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; based resources.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Deliver engaging and dynamic instruction to incarcerated participants at Rikers Island.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Facilitate groups to support completion of OSHA-recognized certifications.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Facilitate Makin It Work curriculum to participants&nbsp;<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Consult with Transition Specialist and Employment Specialists staff to align curriculum with training needs.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Develop relationships with DOC staff for instruction coordination.</li><li><strong>Data and Performance Management</strong><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ensure 90% of caseload achieves ≥ 90% of KPI Contract Requirements.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Analyze caseload performance minimum of 2X/month in partnership with the supervisor to identify strengths, challenges, gaps, and improvement needs.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Monitor, discuss, and track improvement needs a minimum of 1X/month in partnership with the supervisor and co-develop an action plan or performance improvement plan (PIP) accordingly.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;As directed by and in partnership with the supervisor, review, discuss, and address the needs of the action plan or PIP with 100% accuracy, including actions, follow-ups, owners, and outcomes.<br>&nbsp;</li></ul><p><span style=\"color:black;font-family:&quot;Arial&quot;,sans-serif;\"><strong>You're a Great Fit for This Role If:</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li><p style=\"margin-right:47.8pt;tab-stops:43.0pt 43.05pt;\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt;\">You hold a minimum of an associate's degree</span><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt;letter-spacing:-.9pt;\">&nbsp;</span><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt;\">or equivalent credential</span><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt;letter-spacing:-.05pt;\">&nbsp;</span><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt;\">required.
