This individual provides safe, effective, and compassionate care that is consistent with State and Federal regulations and Company policies, procedures, and guidelines and within his/her scope of practice.</span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong>&nbsp;RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></span></p><ul><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Provide direct patient care in a knowledgeable, skillful, consistent, and continuous manner as related to the scope of practice.</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Provide supervision of assigned direct patient care staff, including pre-assessment, monitoring of treatment initiation, intradialytic monitoring, treatment termination, and post-assessment.&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Oversee the closing of the facility after the last procedure (including verifying closing procedures completed by technicians), ensuring the readiness of the facility for the next day&rsquo;s operations.</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Perform admission assessment on assigned patients as well as an ongoing assessment</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Performs other duties as requested</li></ul><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></span></p><ul><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">An Associate&rsquo;s degree in Nursing or a Nursing Diploma is required. Prefer Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Nursing</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Must have current and valid State professional nursing licensure.</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">A minimum of two years of recent dialysis experience is required.</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Candidates with Med/Sur, ICU/CCU, ER, or other critical care experience are preferred.&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Certification in the Dialysis specialty is encouraged.&nbsp;</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Must obtain CPR/BLS certification within the first 60 days if not already certified.</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Must have demonstrated record of and commitment to safety; and dedication to excellence.</li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Must possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Employees may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
