You should understand the intersection of prediction markets, regulation, finance, crypto, politics, sports, technology, and gaming — and know how to explain it without drowning readers in jargon.</p>\n<p>You will help define the editorial voice, build source maps, shape coverage priorities and establish NEXTPredict.io as the leading news and data platform for the industry.</p>\n<p>The successful candidate will also represent NEXTPredict.io at the first <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">World’s Prediction Markets Summit</span> in New York in October.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">News coverage</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead daily coverage of the prediction markets industry</li>\n<li>Report and edit stories on regulation, enforcement, launches, funding, and more</li>\n<li>Identify and produce data-led stories alongside visual storytelling</li>\n<li>File clean, accurate and timely copy with strong headlines and clear angles</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Editing and editorial leadership</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Edit news, analysis, interviews and opinion pieces to a high professional standard</li>\n<li>Apply strong news judgment and ensure every story has a clear reason to exist</li>\n<li>Maintain editorial standards around accuracy, fairness, attribution, and integrity</li>\n<li>Help define the NEXTPredict.io editorial style, tone and coverage playbook</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Sourcing and exclusives</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Build and maintain a strong source network across prediction markets, crypto, fintech, trading, regulation, venture capital and policy</li>\n<li>Develop trusted relationships with founders, executives, investors, lawyers, analysts and regulators</li>\n<li>Land regular exclusives, data-led scoops and agenda-setting interviews</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Analysis and explainers</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Produce sharp explainers and “what this means” pieces on complex market developments</li>\n<li>Translate regulatory filings, court cases, agency actions and product changes into accessible journalism</li>\n<li>Identify the bigger themes behind the daily news cycle</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">SEO and distribution</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Apply news SEO best practices across headlines, metadata, internal linking and taxonomy</li>\n<li>Work with marketing and social teams to package stories for distribution</li>\n<li>Help grow organic traffic, newsletter engagement and audience loyalty</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Events and brand representation</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Represent NEXTPredict.io at industry events, including the first <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">World’s Prediction Markets Summit</span> in New York</li>\n<li>Support event coverage through interviews, live reporting, agenda development and post-event analysis</li>\n<li>Collaborate with the events team to identify speakers, themes and content opportunities</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>US-based, with strong knowledge of the US media, regulatory and political landscape</li>\n<li>3+ years of newsroom experience, ideally including editing responsibilities</li>\n<li>Proven ability to break news, manage sources and shape editorial coverage</li>\n<li>Demonstrable knowledge of prediction markets</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of crypto, digital assets and adjacent sectors</li>\n<li>Excellent writing, editing and communication skills</li>\n<li>Ability to explain complex topics clearly and accurately</li>\n<li>Strong deadline discipline and comfort operating in a fast-moving news environment</li>\n<li>Commitment to editorial
