As a company driven on customer service and a high-quality product, we strive to offer leading edge technology and our team of technicians are driven to provide the highest quality possible.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are currently seeking a CGSB certified RTII Technician to join and contribute to our team. This is a full-time permanent position that will support our operations based out of Red Deer, AB</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Prepare and set up radiographic testing equipment, including X-ray or gamma ray sources, detectors, and imaging devices.</p></li>\n <li>Calibrate the equipment according to specific standards and procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results.</li>\n <li>Verify the setup to comply with safety regulations and industry standards.</li>\n <li>Perform radiographic inspections on various materials and components, such as welds, castings, and structural parts, to detect internal flaws, discontinuities, or defects.</li>\n <li>Analyze radiographic images to identify and assess the presence of any anomalies or defects, such as cracks, voids, inclusions, or misalignments.</li>\n <li>Document and report the findings, providing detailed descriptions of any defects found and their potential impact on the integrity of the tested object.</li>\n <li>Make recommendations for further action, such as repairs or re-testing, based on the evaluation of the radiographic images.</li>\n <li>Follow standards and procedures and monitor to ensure accuracy of results and meets quality and safety objectives and project time-lines.</li>\n <li>Utilize written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and teamwork.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>CGSB RT Level 2 Certification</li>\n <li>CGSB MT and PT Level 2 certifications is considered an asset</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients</li>\n <li>Exceptional safety and quality awareness </li>\n <li>Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively</li>\n <li>Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level</li>\n <li>Valid driver's license</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Why work with Echo NDE?</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We understand that a team is shaped by its leaders and their ability to bring the best out in everyone.
