    "description": "<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p>The Quality Assurance & Template Optimization Specialist is responsible for improving patient access operations through quality monitoring, workflow optimization, provider template management, and Epic scheduling best practices. This role supports operational excellence by ensuring scheduling accuracy, adherence to workflows, regulatory compliance, and optimal provider utilization across FPG medical offices. The specialist collaborates with leadership, clinic operations, providers, Epic analysts, and FPG centralized scheduling teams to improve patient experience, access efficiency, and scheduling quality outcomes.</p>\n<h2>Required Qualifications</h2>\n<p>- Require three (3) years of quality assurance or auditing experience in a centralized authorization, registration, or call center environment with a strong understanding of insurance verification, referrals, and prior authorization processes.</p>\n<h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>\n<p>- Prefer previous experience in centralized access or multi-specialty scheduling environments, as well as experience with computers using information systems including scheduling, registration, medical necessity, billing, and other business office applications.- Prefer strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to handle difficult situations in a diplomatic manner.- Prefer demonstrated ability in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships at all levels.- Prefer strong leadership skills and understanding of group processes.- Prefer the ability to analyze problems and consistently follow through to solution.- Prefer the ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.- Prefer previous experience with Epic, including Cadence, and In-Basket workflows.</p>\n<h2>Mandatory Education</h2>\n<p>HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate</p>\n<h2>Preferred Education</h2>\n<p>AD: Associate's Degree</p>\n<h2>Work Days/Shift/Start Time</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>This is a full-time, onsite position. Remote and hybrid work arrangements are available, however still must be able to work on-site daily as needed.  </li>\n <li>Must be FL resident. </li>\n <li>Standard work schedule is Monday through Friday during normal business hours.</li>\n <li>While the position primarily operates during regular business hours, flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or extended hours may be required to support Epic implementation activities, go-live events, system upgrades, training, testing, and other operational initiatives.</li>\n <li>Candidates should be comfortable working collaboratively with providers, operational leaders, clinical teams, and Epic project stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail, process improvement experience, and a commitment to quality and customer service are essential for success in this role.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Employment Screening Requirements</h2>As part of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System’s commitment to keeping people safe, all individuals providing care to vulnerable populations are required to undergo background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. https://info.flclearinghouse.com/",
