Here, you will make an impact by:</p><ul><li><span>Driving growth across the United States and Canada </span></li><li><span>Fostering deeply integrated relationships </span></li><li><span>Executing high-impact commercial programs. </span></li><li><span>Serving as the primary architect of the 3M-Grainger strategic roadmap, ensuring both organizations achieve market-leading incremental growth.</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Primary Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><b>Strategic Business Acceleration:</b> Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy to expand 3M’s footprint within Grainger’s US and Canadian National Account organizations.</li><li><b>Proactive Engagement:</b> Lead &#34;accelerated engagement&#34; initiatives with the Grainger National Account organization, ensuring 3M is the preferred partner for large-scale industrial end-user contracts.</li><li><b>Program &amp; Project Management:</b> Design and deploy national sales programs, promotional campaigns, and logistical enhancements. You will manage the project lifecycle from ideation through field execution.</li><li><b>Cross-Functional Leadership:</b> Act as the central nervous system between 3M’s various divisions (e.g., PSD, Abrasives, IATD) and Grainger’s National Account sales and leadership teams.</li><li><b>Market Intelligence:</b> Utilize advanced business intelligence to identify white-space opportunities, analyze competitive threats, and adapt strategies to shifting industrial distribution trends.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Your Skills and Expertise  </b></p><p>To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.</li><li>Five (5) years in Key Account Management, Industrial Distribution, or Sales Leadership in a private, public, government or military environment</li><li>One (1) year of experience in Project Management frameworks in a private, public, government or military environment</li></ul><p></p><p>Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:</p><ul><li>MBA</li><li>Experience managing multi-national accounts (specifically US/Canada) is highly desirable.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Work Location: Remote (US)</b></p><p></p><p><b>Territory: </b> <b> - US and Canada </b></p><p></p><p><b>Travel: May include up to 25% domestic/international</b></p><p></p><p><b>Relocation Assistance: May be authorized</b></p><p></p><p><b>Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).</b></p><p></p><p><b>Supporting Your Well-being</b> </p><p>3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
