The successful candidate will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, respond to incidents, and support the overall security operations of a premier retail destination.</p>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Conduct regular mobile and foot patrols throughout the shopping centre, parking facilities, and surrounding property.</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintain a visible security presence to deter theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other undesirable activities.</p></li>\n <li><p>Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, emergencies, and calls for service.</p></li>\n <li><p>Investigate and document incidents, accidents, and security concerns in accordance with site procedures.</p></li>\n <li><p>Monitor CCTV, alarm systems, access control systems, and other security technologies.</p></li>\n <li><p>Provide exceptional customer service and assistance to shoppers, tenants, and visitors.</p></li>\n <li><p>Enforce property rules, regulations, and applicable legislation.</p></li>\n <li><p>Identify and report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, and security vulnerabilities.</p></li>\n <li><p>Assist emergency services and act as a first responder during emergency situations.</p></li>\n <li><p>Complete detailed reports, logs, and electronic documentation accurately and professionally.</p></li>\n <li><p>Collaborate with property management, retailers, contractors, and fellow security personnel to maintain a secure environment.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Qualifications & Requirements:</h3>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Minimum <strong>2–3 years of security experience</strong>, preferably within a shopping centre, retail, commercial, or customer-service-focused environment.</p></li>\n <li><p>Valid <strong>Ontario Security Guard Licence</strong>.</p></li>\n <li><p>Valid <strong>Ontario Class G Driver's Licence</strong> with a clean driving record.</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Must be 25 years of age or older for insurance eligibility requirements.</strong></p></li>\n <li><p>Valid <strong>First Aid and CPR Certification</strong>.</p></li>\n <li><p>Strong report writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.</p></li>\n <li><p>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and security-related technology systems.</p></li>\n <li><p>Demonstrated ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in emergency situations.</p></li>\n <li><p>Professional appearance and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.</p></li>\n <li><p>High School Diploma or equivalent.</p></li>\n <li><p>Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to work rotating days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Preferred Qualifications:</h3>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Experience working in a high-end retail, luxury shopping centre, or commercial property environment.</p></li>\n <li><p>Previous mobile patrol experience.</p></li>\n <li><p>Knowledge of access control, CCTV systems, and emergency response procedures.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Benefits:</h3>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Competitive compensation.</p></li>\n <li><p>Paid training and professional development opportunities.</p></li>\n <li><p>Career growth and advancement within Allied Universal.</p></li>\n <li><p>Supportive and professional work environment.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Disclaimer:</h3>\n<p>As part of Allied Universal's standard hiring process, all candidates being considered for employment will be required to undergo a comprehensive background screening.
