Join a fast-paced, hands-on team that values integrity, reliability, and career growth.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities and Qualifications</h2>\n<strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong>\n<strong>Customer Service & Product Knowledge</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide service to customers entering the warehouse</li>\n <li>Maintain a high level of customer focus in producing quality products and services</li>\n <li>Maintain a full understanding of all products by identification, weight, and size</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Warehouse Operations & Forklift Operation</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials throughout the warehouse and yard</li>\n <li>Receive, organize, and move incoming materials and load outgoing materials</li>\n <li>Load and unload trucks accurately and efficiently while verifying product quantities and condition</li>\n <li>Pull, stage, and prepare customer orders for delivery or pickup</li>\n <li>Allocate and move material to its correct place and always ensure an orderly warehouse</li>\n <li>Maintain packing specifications and make suitable skids/pallets as needed</li>\n <li>Conduct daily forklift inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly</li>\n <li>Perform minor building maintenance when necessary</li>\n <li>Participate in monthly and/or annual physical inventories</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Safety</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment</li>\n <li>Follow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements to maintain a safe working environment</li>\n <li>Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment in a safe and responsible manner at all times</li>\n <li>Use proper lifting techniques</li>\n <li>Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes, and clothing</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Training & Development</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Attend and participate in all required company training programs</li>\n <li>Maintain forklift certification and complete ongoing safety training as required</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Miscellaneous</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Support company values in the areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity, and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customers</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul> \n<strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Building supply warehouse experience strongly preferred</li>\n <li>Prior forklift operating experience required; sit-down forklift experience preferred</li>\n <li>Valid forklift certification preferred or ability to become certified through company training</li>\n <li>Ability to safely operate material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment</li>\n <li>High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent work experience and/or training</li>\n <li>Strong attention to safety procedures and warehouse organization</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and customer service standards</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation and Benefits</h2>\n<strong><u>Reports To</u></strong>Branch Manager \n<strong><u>Compensation</u></strong>\n<p>The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position. Within the range, individual pay may vary based on experience, qualifications, and work location within state.
