The Opportunity This is not your typical sales role. As Business Development Manager for our Federal Markets division, you will be a strategic intelligence gatherer, a relationship builder, and a fearless closer. You’ll work alongside seasoned professionals to identify opportunities, build partnerships, and drive growth in support of federal infrastructure and planning initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead business development efforts across federal agencies, with a focus on DoD, VA, and other mission-critical clients. Identify and qualify new opportunities through market research, client engagement, and strategic networking. Develop and maintain relationships with contracting officers, program managers, and decision-makers within federal agencies. Collaborate with MCFA’s technical teams to shape proposals and solutions that align with client needs. Track performance metrics, pipeline development, and win rates—using data to drive continuous improvement. Represent MCFA at industry events, conferences, and federal procurement forums. Familiarity with federal procurement processes, including GSA schedules, IDIQs, and RFPs. Strong understanding of the AEC industry and federal infrastructure programs.
