    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>About the job:</strong></p>\n<p><i>Kent is seeking a Lead Analyzer Engineer to support upcoming FEED and brownfield/greenfield scopes across multiple client proposals. This role requires a highly experienced analyzer subject matter expert with P.Eng credentials, deep technical knowledge of process analyzers, and the ability to lead complex analyzer design, troubleshooting, lifecycle planning, and integration activities.&nbsp;This position may be based in Calgary or Edmonton.</i></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Skills and Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Analyzer SME Support</strong></p>\n<p>• Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for process analyzers and analyzer systems<br>\n • Lead troubleshooting for analyzer performance issues, alarms, failures, and drift<br>\n • Validate analyzer selections, specifications, and compliance with project needs</p>\n<p><strong>Engineering Leadership &amp; Technical Oversight</strong></p>\n<p>• Lead or provide senior technical review for analyzer system designs and deliverables<br>\n • Support FEED deliverables, engineering basis-of-design, specifications, and data sheets<br>\n • Ensure alignment with industry codes, client standards, and regulatory requirements</p>\n<p>• Develop Datasheets and Material Requisitions (MRQ/MRP), including completion of Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) and Vendor Data and Documentation Reviews (VDDR), to support procurement.</p>\n<p>• Mentor and train intermediate and junior engineers<br><strong>Vendor, Client, and Stakeholder Interface</strong></p>\n<p>• Interface with analyzer vendors for technical clarification and equipment selection<br>\n • Review FAT/SAT procedures, participate in testing, and support commissioning<br>\n • Serve as a primary point of contact for analyzer-related decisions and inquiries</p>\n<p><strong>Procedure, Systems &amp; Documentation Development</strong></p>\n<p>• Develop and refine analyzer system procedures, calibration requirements, and maintenance documentation<br>\n • Ensure documentation accuracy and alignment with project and client execution requirements</p>\n<p><strong>Reliability, Optimization &amp; Modernization</strong></p>\n<p>• Identify analyzer system reliability issues and propose improvements<br>\n • Support modernization strategies, lifecycle planning, and obsolescence mitigation<br>\n • Provide input into long-term analyzer fleet strategies for clients</p>\n<p><strong>Field &amp; Verification Activities</strong></p>\n<p>• Conduct site visits for verification, walkdowns, troubleshooting, and constructability reviews<br><strong>Reporting &amp; Recordkeeping</strong></p>\n<p>• Provide input into weekly progress reports, engineering coordination meetings, and project updates</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization.
