Join DCI today to build relationships and gain fulfillment maintaining vital dialysis equipment in an acute care environment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The <strong>Chief Dialysis Equipment Technician</strong> coordinates clinic technical and building maintenance, including water treatment systems, dialysis machines and other equipment, to ensure patients receive the safest care with the highest-quality outcomes.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Schedule:</strong> Fulltime Monday through Friday, shifts start at 8am, on call as needed</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Compensation:</strong> Pay range from $25-$36 per hour, depending on technical equipment and dialysis experience</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Up to 12 weeks’ paid training</li>\n <li>Comprehensive medical, dental and vision benefits</li>\n <li>Life and long-term disability insurance provided at no additional expense to employee</li>\n <li>Paid time off (PTO) including holidays</li>\n <li>Extended Sick Bank (ESB) in addition to PTO – paid time for doctor appointments, sickness or medical leave</li>\n <li>Retirement plans with $.50 of each contributed dollar matched for eligible employees, up to 8 percent</li>\n <li>Education reimbursement</li>\n <li>Employee assistance program</li>\n <li>Wellness program</li>\n <li>Among others</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>What You Can Expect:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee equipment maintenance and repairs per manufacturer and DCI guidelines, as well as AAMI standards</li>\n <li>Educate direct patient care and technical staff on all equipment’s proper use and maintenance, document training</li>\n <li>Ensure technical and direct care staff follow equipment and facility policies and procedures</li>\n <li>Confirm buliding and equipment maintenance is up to date and in good working order</li>\n <li>Schedule and oversee outside maintenance vendors as needed</li>\n <li>Maintain proper inventory following DCI guidelines</li>\n <li>Perform air quality testing according to clinic policy</li>\n <li>Stay updated on OSHA and other standards to provide a safe workplace</li>\n <li>Coordinate and document routine technical staff meetings</li>\n <li>Participate in on-call duties and be available during emergencies as required</li>\n <li>Attend and present in monthly Quality Assessment Performance Improvement meetings</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Successful Candidates Bring:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent communication and organizational skills</li>\n <li>Demonstrated equipment proficiency</li>\n <li>Desire to collaborate with team members</li>\n <li>Ability to problem solve</li>\n <li>Electronics, plumbing or plant maintenance background</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education/Training:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate degree in biomedical applications or equivalent preferred</li>\n <li>One year related experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair required</li>\n <li>Managerial or supervisory experience preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>DCI’s Differentiator:</strong></p>\n<p>Since opening the first clinic 50 years ago in Nashville, Tenn., our Dialysis Clinic, Inc. family has grown to be the nation’s largest nonprofit dialysis provider with more than 270 locations in 30 states, serving nearly 14,000 patients each day.
