This person will provide services in our Marshalltown and Cedar Falls clinics and is a full-time, salaried position with the potential for additional performance-based opportunities. This position enjoys a Monday to Friday schedule and includes both clinical services and hearing aid dispensing. </span></p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\">At Wolfe Audiology, our culture is focused on group successes and team development. They will have a strong understanding and commitment to providing outstanding patient care and superior customer service. They will always maintain integrity, honesty, and respect for everyone, providing compassionate counsel while building patient rapport. They must possess strong clinical skills, pay close attention to detail, have excellent communication skills and be able to multitask, adapt, problem solve, and overcome objections. </span></p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\">Duties and Responsibilities: </span></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\">Conduct patient diagnostics by administering and interpreting hearing evaluations, gathering pertinent medical history, and performing a thorough examination </span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\">Educate patients on treatment options, and make recommendations for hearing aids, amplification devices, and assistive listening technologies based on their needs and lifestyle </span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\">Take ear impressions and prepare, design, and modify ear molds, and order instruments </span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\">Program, fit, and adjust hearing aids utilizing best practices including real ear measurements </span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\">Strong commitment to excellent follow-up care for patients and their devices, including the maintenance and repair of devices from a variety of manufacturers </span></li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\">Qualifications: </span></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\">Experience with diagnostic testing and dispensing required </span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\">Strong computer aptitude including knowledge of software, products, and accessories offered by major hearing technology companies </span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\">Ability to work both independently and within a team </span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\">Ability to establish professional relationships with patients to create repeat and referral business </span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\">Must be comfortable with the sales process and possess a desire to grow and expand services </span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\">Iowa Hearing Aid Specialist applicants must have already completed the International Hearing Society Examination and possess permanent Iowa license </span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\">Active and current hearing aid dispensing license in the state of Iowa is required </span></li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\">If you are interested in being part of a quality driven organization, while receiving a competitive salary and excellent benefits (health, dental, 401k, paid time off, licensure and continuing education expenses, etc.), please apply online at <u>www.wolfeeyeclinic.com/careers</u> If you have questions about the position or need to get in touch, please contact Lisa Lekar at <u>[email protected]</u></span></p>\n",
