    "description_html": "<p><strong>Illinois Bone &amp; Joint Institute, LLC (IBJI)</strong>, Chicagoland's premier orthopedic medical practice with several Chicago and suburban locations has a part time Rehabilitation Technician opening at our Western Springs location.</p><ul><li>15 hours per week</li><li>Available to work opening or closing shifts</li></ul><p>At IBJI, every employee in the clinic provides a meaningful contribution to the team, whether it be technical knowledge, communication skills, a positive attitude, etc. As a Rehab Technician at IBJI, you’ll be a vital member of the orthopedic team, contributing to both clinical care and the overall success of the clinic using expertise in patient treatment and time management.</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Job Summary</strong></u></p><p>A rehabilitation technician is under the general technician supervisor and management team at the site of employment. The main objectives of this position is to support the staff with a team-oriented approach in delivering exceptional customer service and care with the goal of improving a patient’s overall quality of life.</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Essential Duties</strong></u></p><ol><li>Provide excellent customer service and communication to therapy patients, therapists, physician staff, and clients in a fast paced orthopedic rehab office.</li><li>Daily clinic maintenance: including but not limited to cleaning treatment tables and equipment, change out linen, stocking supplies.</li><li>Keep exercise equipment in an orderly fashion and out of the way of patients to maintain safe conditions in the clinic.</li><li>Daily, weekly and monthly checks of maintenance tasks to stay compliant with IBJI guidelines. 5. Act as an extender to the therapists; assist clinicians with carrying out exercise programs for patients including set up on equipment and modalities.</li><li>Communicate with therapist on any observations made during the patient's exercise program. 7. Take initiative in assisting clinicians with patient care.</li><li>Print home exercise program for patients under the direction of the clinician.</li><li>Inventory of both clinical and non-clinical materials.</li><li>For clinics that utilize techs for front desk support, follow best practice procedures that involve clerical duties: including but not limited to checking in patients, scheduling appointments, taking co-pays, scanning, answering the phone.</li><li>Provide daily support to the rehab staff and management team.</li><li>Follows HIPAA guidelines by protecting the patient's identity.</li><li>Ability to work with patients regardless of diagnosis, age, or background.</li><li>Maintain a positive attitude in clinic.</li><li>Demonstrates professionalism with prompt work attendance and flexibility with established work hours. 16.
