Along with the team the Supervisor must perform preventative maintenance, paint, and fix necessary repairs to the hotel and restaurant equipment.</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:&nbsp;</strong>Other duties may be assigned by the General Manager.</p><p>General Maintenance: 60%</p><ul><li>Perform all duties and responsibilities of a maintenance technician.</li><li>Ensure that after hours access into secured hotel areas are properly authorized, monitored, and documented</li><li>Handle deliveries received during non-business hours</li><li>Work with outside agencies (i.e.., police) and contractors</li><li>Coordinate emergency situations</li><li>Check surveillance when requested to assist with investigations</li><li>Ensure all required repairs and maintenance is performed using proper equipment</li><li>Perform preventative maintenance on hotel equipment, fixtures, and other assets</li><li>Perform daily walk through of the property</li><li>Assist guests in the event of an emergency</li><li>Provide standard security 24 hours per day</li></ul><p>Guest Services: 30%</p><ul><li>Review hotel status and follow up actions with the previous shift employee</li><li>Ensure all non-hotel personnel arriving at employee entrance are properly escorted while on property</li><li>Provide escorts for guests or employees, if requested</li><li>Investigate all emergencies</li><li>Patrol the property with specified equipment, checking all designated points and document all actions taken</li><li>Resolve safety hazard situations</li><li>Ensure all guest room doors are secured; assist guests with room access</li><li>Investigate suspicious persons on hotel property</li><li>Conduct designated investigations into theft or lost items, noise complaints, assault complaints, food poisoning complaints and other guest complaints; complete documents reports</li><li>Respond to the scene of guest/employee accident promptly; administers first aid/CPR; AED (only if certified); communicate specified information to EMS/medical personnel as required</li></ul><p>Administrative Tasks: 10%</p><ul><li>Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/standard operating procedures/standards</li><li>Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended</li><li>Review shift reports and be familiar with pertinent information relevant to the daily shift</li><li>Contact the Maintenance Manager immediately for emergency situations</li><li>Maintain confidentiality of all security and hotel reports/documents; release information only to authorized individuals</li></ul></div></div></div>\n",
