Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position. </span></em></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 15px\">Position Overview: </span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">This is a full-time Union position and is responsible for completing field construction activities for assigned craft areas in conformance with plans, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">Location &amp; Travel:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> Field assignment: To be ready for work on-time and abiding by IBEW Code of Excellence. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> Ability to work first, second, and third shifts according to project needs. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> Ability to work in all construction related environments – heights, vertical, hot, cold, inside, outside, noise, office, etc. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> Occasional travel as necessary to other local union jurisdictions, trainings, offsite meetings, customer, or vendor facilities.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Timesheets and phase codes submitted correctly and on time.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> Equipment and tooling reporting on timesheets or project specific documents. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> All testing equipment and results should be returned to the office at the end of each project. All transfers or drop-offs need communicated to project management the day of the move. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> PO and packing slip submitted correctly and on time.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> Credit card receipts applied correctly and submitted the day of the purchase.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> Project Delivery adherence – hour tracker submissions, meetings.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> Three week look-aheads submitted each Friday after manpower meetings.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> Legible and timely documentation and communication of as-builts and change orders.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> Twice daily communication of pre-job briefing with crew.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> As needed submissions on IBA SharePoint for all tools, equipment, and maintenance needs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> Use of SharePoint folders and forms to adhere to company policies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> As needed submission of incident reports (IR’s) and Good Catches.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> Ensure all IBA employees have and maintain the correct equipment, PPE, or tools.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> As needed, regular communication with IBA project management. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> Adhere to all DOT regulations and IBA Fleet Policies. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> Treat all customers as we would expect to be treated. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> Follow all company and customer polices. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Required:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> Completion of the respective IBEW apprenticeship (or equivalent).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> Respective Journeyman or Technician IBEW classification.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Other:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA, local codes, utility, BICSI, TIA/EIA, and OSHA requirements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> Craft certification, training, and experience appropriate for assignment scope.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Desired:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> CDL</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> BICSI certification</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"> OSHA 30</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">Why Work for IB Abel?</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">IB Abel’s over 110-year history is a testament to its adaptability, forward-thinking leadership, commitment to safety, and stellar service and project delivery process.
