          "text": "<p><strong>*** A part-time Instructor will consistently work 2-3 days a week - 20-30 hours - set schedule ***</strong></p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Purpose of the Position:</strong></p><p>Facilitates high-quality, student-centered learning that prepares future nurses for competent, compassionate, and ethical practice. This role supports the mission of the institution by fostering academic excellence, professional integrity, and evidence-based practice in alignment with nursing standards, accreditation requirements, and institutional outcomes.</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Job responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborate with other instructors in preparing, administering, and grading examinations for the course. Participate in the preparation of the final evaluations for the course.</li><li>Responsible for assuring class attendance and grades are kept and submitted.</li><li>Assist with strategic planning and assessment of instructional initiatives to ensure quality of program.</li><li>Plan and implement orientation of new faculty in theory &amp; clinical facilities for the courses.</li><li>Utilize principles of teaching that recognize the characteristics of the adult learner.</li><li>Make continuous efforts to improve the quality of instruction.</li><li>Demonstrate or be willing to acquire skills for utilizing online activities as enhancers to course content/material during interactive teaching and learning.</li><li>Maintain student records and assist with program data collection.</li><li>Submit required program reports &amp; forms to the Director of the program in a timely manner.</li><li>Keep current with new technologies and safety regulations.</li><li>Participate in committee activities that support the education program(s).</li><li>Attend faculty meetings</li><li>Plan and supervises student clinical experience in assigned health care facilities.</li><li>Follow all policies and procedures established by Unitek Learning.</li><li>Provide feedback on clinical performance or specific events immediately after observation.</li><li>Ensure clinical assignments meet student and facility needs.</li><li>Determine best method to observe, instruct, and evaluate students.</li><li>Provide in-person and remote access to students for ongoing communication.</li><li>Participate in student advising activities.</li><li>Regular, in-person attendance up to 5 days per week on campus/on site is an essential function of this position.</li><li>The role requires on-site collaboration with students, faculty, and staff</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p>&#xa0;</p>",
