These pillars form the foundation of our company-wide commitment to sustainability, helping us achieve our ambitious goals through our wide-ranging initiatives.</p>\n<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Technical Lead </p>\n<p>Brookshire, TX</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Compensation Includes</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Starting Pay Rate of <strong>$24 - 32/hour</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Available Shift</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Third: 11pm-7am</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve as first line supervisor for Machine Operators, and Utility persons</li>\n <li>Assign employees to production lines and make sure all machines are running on schedule and at production speed</li>\n <li>Monitor bags being run, making sure hourly samples are taken in order to inspect quality and catch any defects and unnecessary waste</li>\n <li>Assist in machine changeovers/order changes and ensure they are completed in a timely manner</li>\n <li>Clean and repair machines as needed</li>\n <li>Make sure work in area is done in a safe manner and employees are following all safety procedures, i.e. PPE, guards, ZES, shirt tails, etc.</li>\n <li>Submit accurate production reports daily and timely</li>\n <li>Make sure employees take breaks, and schedule relief as needed</li>\n <li>Evaluate employees’ performances, and administer counseling and/or disciplinary action, improvement plans and making sure that recurring problems are brought to the attention of Shift Supervisor or Department Manager</li>\n <li>Train new employees or assign them to others to train</li>\n <li>Keep workers supplied with necessary materials</li>\n <li>Make sure employees keep their work areas clean</li>\n <li>Refer employees to Human Resources for complaints and/or first step grievances or other issues as they arise</li>\n <li>Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety Practices</li>\n <li>Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management, including food safety</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment</li>\n <li>2-5 years Machine Operator experience</li>\n <li>Effective listening, speaking & writing ability in person and on the phone</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and quality instructions, and procedural manuals</li>\n <li>Ability to complete routine reports and records</li>\n <li>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide</li>\n <li>Ability to write clearly and concisely, using good grammar and professional style</li>\n <li>Self managing with organization and time management skills</li>\n <li>Must have good eyesight (no colorblindness) in order to spot flaws in color comparison, print set-up, etc. as bags or film come off the production line</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#INDQSR</p>\n<h2>Company Benefits</h2>\n<h2>What You'll Get From Us</h2>\n<h3>Benefits</h3>\n<p>With safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
