LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Edison, NJ.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>The client for this position is the NYS OGS Department of Design & Construction</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>We have an outstanding opportunity for a Junior Scheduler or entry level engineer or construction management grad interested in mastering the art and science of project planning and scheduling. In this role you'll learn to master <strong>Primavera Project Planning P6</strong> software (P6) as a Junior Scheduler (Scheduler in Training).   Primavera P6 software is considered the standard for project planning and scheduling in the construction industry. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As a Junior Scheduler you will learn and enhance your skills in the following areas:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Use of P6 Software</li>\n <li>Critical Path Methodology</li>\n <li>Project Planning</li>\n <li>Schedule Analysis</li>\n <li>Baseline Schedule Development and Maintenance</li>\n <li>Construction Duration Schedule Development</li>\n <li>Schedule Report Development</li>\n <li>Time Impact Analysis</li>\n <li>On-line Meeting Facilitation and Collaboration</li>\n <li>Critical Thinking</li>\n <li>Communication (both written and verbal)</li>\n <li>Time Management</li>\n <li>Contract General Conditions</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Past successful candidates have possessed skills in the following areas:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must have 2+ years of project management experience in the construction industry or equivalent;</li>\n <li>Degree in engineering, construction managment or similar </li>\n <li>Basic P6 or other scheduling technolgy</li>\n <li>Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
