Job Function:
The Robotics Field Application Engineer is responsible for providing on-site technical expertise to deploy, optimize, and support robotic applications. This role will ensure systems are fully operational, efficient, and meet customer performance expectations while acting as a key interface between customers and internal teams.

Robotics Head of Services, NA
Responsibilities and Objectives:
Field Application & Customer Support Provide on-site programming, setup, and integration support Troubleshoot robotic systems and resolve issues Optimize performance to meet cycle time and quality targets Support commissioning and validation Provide remote technical support via phone and email to diagnose issues, guide customers, and ensure timely resolution Respond to customer inquiries and support requests, ensuring clear communication and high service quality Application Development & Optimization Develop and modify robot programs Implement solutions with vision, tracking, and safety systems Customize applications to customer needs Ensure performance and reliability Training & Knowledge Transfer Deliver customer and partner training Ensure proper understanding and usage of systems Support training material development Reporting & Process Discipline Document activities in CRM Provide technical reports Track project progress Collaboration & Improvement Work with internal teams Provide feedback for improvement Support knowledge sharing Adheres to all safety, quality and environmental standards
Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Engineering, Robotics, or related field 3+ years experience in robotics or industrial automation Strong robot programming and troubleshooting skills Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control systems Ability to read and interpret technical documentation Strong communication and customer interaction skills Willingness to travel up to 75% PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Structured text programming experience (C , C++, Python …) Experience with industrial fieldbus systems Experience with vision systems and conveyor tracking applications Multilingual (Spanish) Experience working with system integrators or OEMs
Physical Requirements :
Periods sitting at a desk or standing and working on a computer Periods traveling in automobiles, planes Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry objects Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times Dexterity and accuracy as needed to operate equipment Work schedule:
Willingness to travel as required both domestically and internationally (up to 75%) This position will report to the Duncan, SC office.
