In doing so, transcribes physician orders, assembles and maintains patient charts, answers telephone and intercom calls, provides routine approved information and relays other calls and messages. Appropriately interacts with patients/residents, family and staff. Supports unit activities that are essential to the smooth functioning of the patient care area. Under general supervision of the Licensed Nurse, assists in the delivery of patient care.
