    "requirements_html": "<p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><p>The Estimator will be responsible for preparing complete, accurate estimates for all contract types (lump sum, time and material, etc.). This position is responsible for evaluating bid specifications and drawings, ensuring that we know everything required to successfully bid and win the project. Provide aggressive follow-up with our clients to receive feedback on our proposals.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities of this Position:</strong></p><p>· Prepare detailed project cost estimates.</p><p>· Foster relationships with key Clients.</p><p>· Communication with subcontractors and suppliers</p><p>· Attend on-site pre-bid/proposal conferences and site visits</p><p>· Develop and review subcontractor scopes of work and accept, review, and analyze subcontractor quotes for best value</p><p>· Prepare project bid status reports and ensure compliance with all specifications and contract Statements of Work and Bid Invitations</p><p>· Present cost estimates to meet customer proposals, providing consideration for general and special conditions</p><p>· Prepare scope specifications and requirements, prepare and inputs project schedules, perform quantity take-offs, prepare cost summary sheets, and input quantities into estimating software</p><p>· Maintain an accurate, current database cost codes of accounts for historical data</p><p>· Utilize the appropriate company and industry historical data for pricing estimates.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering</li><li><strong>3-5 years of related Construction Estimating experience.</strong></li><li><strong>Experience in deep foundations or heavy civil works is REQUIRED.</strong></li><li>Project estimator skills that include performing basic engineering calculations, being familiar with engineering terminology and effectively communicate with Engineers, Project Managers, and vendors.</li><li>Strong analytical skills</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Ability to read, understand and organize construction plans and specifications</li><li>Strong organizational and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and with minimal structure while exercising sound judgment.</li><li>Strong ability to multitask, prioritizes, and works well under pressure to meet established deadlines</li><li>Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Project, Power Point, Word, Outlook).</li><li>Preferred knowledge of AutoCAD</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Compensation and benefits</strong></p><p>Competitive salary; exact compensation commensurate with experience.</p><p><br></p><p>Benefits offered: health insurance, life insurance, 401(k) plan with employer match, parental leave, tuition assistance, paid holidays and vacation.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor an employment Visa at this time.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><em>BAUER Foundation Corp. is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from all qualified individuals.
