With a combined legacy of resilience, Magnera will build personal partnerships that withstand an ever-changing world.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Role</u></strong></p>\n<p>The <strong>Winder Operator</strong> has the qualifications and business acumen to effectively run the Winder, Prewrap and Core Cutter to meet customer specifications. </p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong><u>Duties & Responsibilities</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Operates Winder, Prewrap and Core Cutter</li>\n <li>Computer software understanding</li>\n <li>Splices defects, metal and contaminants from material.</li>\n <li>Ensures all flags have been removed from the material and turned into QA</li>\n <li>Ensures metal detector is validated twice a shift</li>\n <li>Ensures edge quality on finished rolls</li>\n <li>Ensures slit width is within customer specifications</li>\n <li>Assists threadup at the Reel or Calender during startups if time permits</li>\n <li>Responsible for housekeeping at Winder, Pre-wrap and Sorting table</li>\n <li>Informs Lab operator, Lead Operator, and Shift Leader if metal is found.</li>\n <li>Replenish tape, cores, blades and other supplies necessary</li>\n <li>Ensure tools are on the shadow board</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n <li>Communicate with team members as needed, including a shift hand-off with previous and oncoming operator on shift review and planning</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>1-3 years of manufacturing experience</li>\n   <li>Knowledge and experience with GMP principles.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>",
