    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Job Purpose&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The Crisis Counselor is responsible for providing quality crisis assessment and intervention to individuals presenting to the Behavioral Health Crisis Center in a timely and responsible manner.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Master&rsquo;s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related Field&nbsp;</li><li>Must have all necessary course work and meet all the requirements to be licensed within the State of Missouri, at a minimum be eligible to begin supervision OR&nbsp;</li><li>Must meet the Department of Mental Health&rsquo;s Criteria for Qualified Mental Health Professional </li></ul><p><strong>Core Job Duties&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct Crisis Assessments to determine appropriate level of care.&nbsp;</li><li>Provide Crisis Interventions.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintains working knowledge of all civil involuntary detention procedures.&nbsp;</li><li>Discharge/transition/aftercare plans completed accurately and in a timely manner.&nbsp;</li><li>Provide lethal means counseling and complete safety plan with clients.&nbsp;</li><li>Adherence to all applicable evidence-based practice models.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain client records, following agency and state regulations.&nbsp;</li><li>Interface with other community partners such as law enforcement, emergency medical personnel, etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Orally communicate information effectively and accurately.&nbsp;</li><li>Assure program operates within the constraints of the agency&rsquo;s certification (CARF, DMH) standards and strategic plan related to clinical care.&nbsp;</li><li>Abide by program and agency policies and procedures.&nbsp;</li><li>Other job duties and special projects as assigned. &nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p></div>\n",
