Strong candidates will maintain compliance with state and federal regulations while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams to support quality resident care and operational performance. </p><p>This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can perform effectively within a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining accuracy, organization, and strong communication. </p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Xenia, Ohio <br><strong>Work Setting:</strong> Onsite <br><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Full-Time <br><strong>Salary Range: </strong>$90,000 - $120,000 USD/Annually <br><strong>Benefits: </strong>Healthcare Benefits, PTO, Vacation Package, 401(k), etc. </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities </strong></p><ul><li>Coordinate and complete MDS assessments in accordance with state and federal regulations </li><li>Ensure timely and accurate MDS submissions </li><li>Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary teams on care planning </li><li>Support Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement optimization </li><li>Monitor documentation accuracy and compliance standards </li><li>Participate in audits, surveys, and quality improvement initiatives </li><li>Maintain current knowledge of CMS guidelines and reimbursement practices </li><li>Assist with care plan development and resident assessment coordination </li><li>Ensure accurate clinical documentation to support reimbursement and compliance objectives </li><li>Communicate effectively with facility leadership and clinical staff regarding assessment updates and requirements </li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications </strong></p><ul><li>Active RN license preferred; LPN candidates with strong MDS experience may be considered </li><li>Previous MDS experience within skilled nursing or long-term care settings </li><li>Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, CMS regulations, and reimbursement processes </li><li>Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills </li><li>Ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively </li><li>Strong attention to detail and regulatory compliance standards </li><li>Ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary healthcare teams </li></ul><p><strong>Compensation</strong><br>The published salary range is used as a guide to provide prospective candidates with a level of compensation that is competitive with today’s market.
