    "description": "<p>Hunt Electric, Inc. is searching for a full-time Licensed <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Electrical Superintendent I</span> to join our team. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Our <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Electrical Superintendent I</span> may oversee the projects from the award of the project to the final construction. The position requires a high level of customer service to build and maintain relationships. Experience with electrical construction background is required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">MAJOR DUTIES</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have previous successfully supervised projects with crews ranging from 20+ personnel, meeting safety, quality, and production goals.</li>\n<li>Diplomatically manage the crews and provide appropriate training, positive and constructive feedback.</li>\n<li>Plan and layout the project including planned installation material take-off quantities and tool needs based on the project schedule.</li>\n<li>Establish a site-specific safety plan, evaluate project risks to personnel and equipment to mitigate them.</li>\n<li>Understand, review and implement the installation per the contract drawings and specifications.</li>\n<li>Evaluate the contracted scope of work with the PM to determine change requests and schedule effect.</li>\n<li>Plan the project’s material, equipment, and labor needs for timely arrival to and from the site.</li>\n<li>Monitor daily progress to the short term and long-term schedules to meet commitments. Provide daily written documentation of activities and obstacles.</li>\n<li>Conduct and participate in project meetings as needed and provide necessary trade coordination.</li>\n<li>Coordinate and communicate with the PM and purchasing manager with detailed material requisitions, and delivery schedules.</li>\n<li>Establish and implement prefab project-specific tasks.</li>\n<li>Ability to work well within a team environment.</li>\n<li>Superior internal and external communication and interpersonal skills (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.) with the ability to be a leader by acknowledging contributions by others.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Actively contributes to a positive team environment. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrates knowledge of the National Electric Code. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Be a self-starter and be dependable. </li>\n<li>Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Minimum Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Current Utah Journeyman license.</li>\n<li>Seven plus years of installation experience with the latest electrical code, means, and methods.</li>\n<li>Be able to apply the latest technological techniques to maximize employee safety, quality, and production.</li>\n<li>Have moderate to high-level computer skills including Outlook, Bluebeam, Word, and Excel.</li>\n<li>Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.</li>\n<li>Ability to lift 100lbs.</li>\n<li>Have safety training related to electrical and general construction such as OSHA 30 hour, NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR, scissor lift, forklift, Lock Out/Tag Out, and trade-specific.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As a full-time<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> Electrical Superintendent I</span>, you would also be eligible for an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, a 401(k) plan, and paid personal time (PTO). </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>About Hunt Electric</p>\n<p>Hunt Electric, Inc. is a full-service electrical, technology, and infrastructure contractor with wide-reaching services available in a variety of markets.
