This role prepares materials, applies bonding agents, operates bonding equipment, and ensures product quality through inspection, finishing, and repair processes..&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Job Functions:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Perform adhesive bonding and structural bonding repairs on aircraft components, including nacelle, composite, and metallic structures.</li><li>Prepare surfaces for bonding through cleaning, sanding, chemical treatment, and masking in accordance with repair specifications.</li><li>Mix and apply approved adhesives, sealants, and bonding agents following manufacturer instructions.</li><li>Install and maintain bonding fixtures, vacuum bagging systems, and heat blankets for curing processes.</li><li>Monitor and control curing cycles, temperature, and pressure requirements during bonding operations.</li><li>Inspect bonded assemblies for proper adhesion, alignment, and workmanship.</li><li>Interpret and follow repair manuals, engineering drawings, and technical work instructions.</li><li>Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and quality standards.</li><li>Maintain accurate work records, job cards, and repair documentation.</li><li>Adhere to safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and respirators when working with adhesives and chemicals.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Positions Supervised:&nbsp;</strong>None</p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Familiar with Internal Customer Interfaces, as defined by the process assigned.</li><li>Acquire and maintain hand tools, if necessary, to complete work assigned.</li><li>Cleans work area, when required with minimal supervision.</li><li>Have a basic understanding of computer processes involved in daily operations.</li><li>Have a good understanding of blueprints, technical manuals and planning documents with normal supervision.</li></ul></div>\n",
