Salary The salary range for this position is CAD $25.82/Hr. - CAD $25.82/Hr. Job Accuracy Posting Flag The hours of work, including start and stop times, days off, work area and work site may be subject to change consistent with operations requirements and applicable provisions of the Collective Agreement and statutes. **Testing may be required. ***A criminal record check may be required Summary Apply today! You will report directly to the Food Services Manager and be responsible for various tasks, including portioning and serving meals, assisting with food production by washing and peeling vegetables and fruits, and preparing coffee, tea, and toast. You will also be responsible for portioning desserts, assembling sandwiches and salads, and preparing and portioning diet items according to nutritional plans. Additional duties include measuring and combining food and beverage ingredients through methods such as grinding, blending, slicing, dicing, or pureeing, checking patient and resident meals or trays to ensure dietary accuracy, and delivering wagons or trays to patient and resident units. Candidates applying to this posting will be asked to identify their preferred site. Your application will be shared with the Hiring Manager for your preferred site. Grade 10 One year’s recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Skills and Abilities: Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to deal with others effectively. Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position. Ability to organize work. Ability to operate related equipment.
