    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p data-pasted=\"true\">Position Overview:</p><p>The Quality Engineer will be responsible for managing the design of technical, retail orientated,&nbsp;</p><p>refrigerated display products from concept to delivery. This position will develop, support, and manage&nbsp;</p><p>design and development teams. This role will provide technical guidance to internal and external&nbsp;</p><p>stakeholders on all EMI Industries, LLC designed and or manufactured products. To additionally work&nbsp;</p><p>with appointed external manufacturers to ensure a sound technical knowledge of their products and&nbsp;</p><p>that this in turn is available to the wider business as appropriate.</p><p>Essential Job Functions:</p><p>&bull; Ensure compliance of all regulatory requirements by ensuring both our staff and products are&nbsp;</p><p>suitably qualified, accredited and registered to the most appropriate standards both within the&nbsp;</p><p>United Kingdom and internationally.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Develop and promote a culture of continuous improvement with the wider design / technical&nbsp;</p><p>and support teams.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Ensure all product design, re-design and development maintains a clear focus on reducing&nbsp;</p><p>energy consumption and ensuring industry leading best practice is observed and implemented&nbsp;</p><p>at every opportunity.</p><p>&bull; Manage and support the ongoing creation and development of technical support information to&nbsp;</p><p>all stakeholders.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Possess an overview and understanding of our clients&rsquo; specifications, offer guidance to the&nbsp;</p><p>regional contract teams, ensure good practice is observed and advise where Client specification&nbsp;</p><p>is absent.</p><p>&bull; Conduct design reviews periodically on a selective, national basis to ensure standards and&nbsp;</p><p>procedures are being adhered to.</p><p>&bull; Provide technical expertise in terms of Client presentations to assist the Business Development&nbsp;</p><p>personnel.</p><p>&bull; Represent the Company at Trade Associations and Technical Seminars and disseminate relevant&nbsp;</p><p>information to ensure the Company&rsquo;s technical staff are kept abreast of developments within&nbsp;</p><p>the industry.</p><p>&bull; Work with QA staff to ensure relevant procedures are adhered to by self and teams.</p><p>&bull; Manage escalated issues, which cannot be resolved locally, to next in line and Production&nbsp;</p><p>Manager.</p><p>&bull; Maintain cleanliness and all safety standards in assigned area.</p><p>&bull; Support other departments as necessary.</p><p>&bull; Perform additional assignments in accordance with the Manager&rsquo;s direction.</p><p>&bull; Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.</p><p>Minimum Qualifications:&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Knowledge of Total Equivalent Warming Impact and Building Research Establishment&nbsp;</p><p>Assessment Methods</p><p>&bull; Knowledge and comprehensive awareness of F-Gas regulations</p><p>&bull; Knowledge of 3D CAD, Revit, EPDM and SolidWorks packages</p><p>&bull; Computer literate with a thorough working knowledge of MS Office packages (Office, Word,&nbsp;</p><p>Excel, PowerPoint)</p><p>&bull; Excellent time management and organizational skills&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Excellent verbal and written communication</p><p>&bull; Attention to detail and problem-solving skills</p><p>&bull; Ability to travel overseas as a representative of the business</p><p>&bull; Ability to work in a demanding, multi-task environment</p><p>&bull; Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers and vendors</p><p>&bull; Ability to maintain and continually improve technical and professional abilities described above,&nbsp;</p><p>as well as those required to perform role</p><p>Education and/or Experience:</p><p>&bull; Degree in Mechanical, Production, or Electrical Engineering or extensive experience within a&nbsp;</p><p>manufacturing environment.</p><p>&bull; Obtain and/or maintain professional membership and association or accreditation from suitable&nbsp;</p><p>industry bodies such as IOR / BRA.</p><p>&bull; Significant working experience and knowledge of refrigerated cabinet design and/or of the&nbsp;</p><p>current CFD development and applications.</p><p>&bull; Demonstratable understanding and practical knowledge of Thermodynamics.</p><p>Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those necessary for an&nbsp;</p><p>employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
