Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.\n<h2>Description</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assisting in the fabrication and integration of C4ISR systems into Aircraft Carriers (CVN) under either New Contruction (NewCon) or Carrier Overhaul (RCOH) phases</li>\n <li>Assisting technical staff members in the fabrication, integration, testing, operation, maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical circuits</li>\n <li>Providing feedback to production management and QA with identified issues/defects in design or during the fabrication/integration phase with regards to cables or equipment racks</li>\n <li>Performing on-site installation of equipment and products in the continental United States within various environments to include naval bases and privately owned shipyards</li>\n <li>Providing written daily and weekly progress reporting</li>\n <li>Planning work assignments days and weeks in advance\n  <ul>\n   <li>Assignments should align with the set schedule to ensure goals are met</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Monitoring progress for production team under their direction</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>#LI-JC1</em></p>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma/GED</li>\n <li>10 years of direct work experience\n  <ul>\n   <li>Minimum of a two-year technical degree and 8 years of work related experience equivalent combination of education and experience should add up to 10 years</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Shipboard Electronics installation experience to include understanding of the following standards: MIL-STD-1310H, MIL-STD-1678-1D, MIL-STD-2003A, and MIL-STD-2042C</li>\n <li>Proficiency in using cable fabrication hand tools to include but not limited to: Heat Guns, Hand Soldering Stations, and various crimp tools</li>\n <li>Cable fabrication assembly experience with the following types of cables: RF, CAT5/6, Heliax, & Multi-pin MIL-STD Cannon Plugs</li>\n <li>Read and interpret drawings</li>\n <li>Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel to maintain, manipulate, and track progress of shipboard production efforts</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Desired Skills</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>C4ISR Navy Shipboard and Shipyard Experience</li>\n <li>Navy \"A\" or \"C\" School</li>\n <li>Fiber Optic Termination and Testing Experience (under NAVSEA 8477552 Rev C MIL-STD-2042C)\n  <ul>\n   <li>Active Certification is desired but not required </li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Clearance Information</h2>\n<p><strong>SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL</strong></p>\n<h2>Travel Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>0-5%</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Us</h2>\n<p>Scientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
