    "description_html": "<p>To help coordinate PETA's work with educators and parents to replace the animals used for dissection and other science education projects</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Primary Responsibilities and Duties: &nbsp;</strong></p><p>• Correspond with teachers and parents about dissection and help animals by addressing their use in classrooms nationwide&nbsp;</p><p>• Assist with outreach to teachers looking for dissection funding on Donors Choose</p><p>• Build and maintain relationships with school district leaders and decision makers to secure pilot program opportunities&nbsp;</p><p>• Travel to and represent TeachKind and perform outreach at science educator conferences</p><p>• Respond to other science-related correspondence, such as chick-hatching projects and bottle biology</p><p>• Research schools, districts, and more to find opportunities to replace animals being used for dissection</p><p>• Monitor sources for opportunities to offer humane science options in place of using animals</p><p>• Proactively identify and contact schools about ending dissection</p><p>• Write and coordinate content on the TeachKind section of PETA.org related to dissection</p><p>• Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor</p><p><br></p>",
