This role is responsible for leading and managing construction projects from conception through completion, ensuring execution aligns with RNGD’s standards of safety, quality, budget, schedule, and culture. The Project Manager partners closely with field operations, preconstruction, subcontractors, and clients to deliver successful outcomes while supporting RNGD’s mission and operational excellence. This position is based out of RNGD Headquarters in New Orleans and provides regional coverage throughout the Southeast as needed. The role requires regular travel to active project locations, project meetings, and partner engagements.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Core Responsibilities</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Project Planning &amp; Execution</em>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead overall project planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and execution in alignment with organizational goals.</li>\n<li>Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, work plans, and progress tracking tools.</li>\n<li>Oversee procurement activities, subcontractor selection, contract negotiation, and buyout processes.</li>\n<li>Ensure project performance meets or exceeds cost, schedule, quality, and safety expectations.</li>\n<li>Conduct regular project site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and support field teams.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Contract, Financial &amp; Risk Management</em>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage owner contracts, subcontract agreements, and vendor relationships.</li>\n<li>Review and approve invoices, pay applications, change orders, and cost reports.</li>\n<li>Identify risks proactively and drive mitigation strategies to protect project delivery outcomes.</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, project specifications, and company standards.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Collaboration &amp; Communication</em>\n<ul>\n<li>Serve as primary point of contact for clients, architects/engineers, and subcontractors.</li>\n<li>Lead internal and external project meetings, ensuring accurate documentation and follow-through.</li>\n<li>Partner with field leadership to support coordination, logistics planning, and workforce alignment.</li>\n<li>Promote RNGD’s culture through professional communication, collaboration, and consistent follow-up.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Team Leadership &amp; Development</em>\n<ul>\n<li>Coach and mentor project engineers, assistant project managers, and other emerging talent.</li>\n<li>Support a culture of accountability, problem solving, and continuous improvement.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance project delivery systems and organizational processes.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 5 years of project management experience in commercial or industrial construction.</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.</li>\n<li>Proven ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and coordinate complex project activities.</li>\n<li>Ability to analyze data, anticipate issues, and drive informed decision-making.</li>\n<li>Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.</li>\n<li>Proficiency with project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and construction management systems.</li>\n<li>Professional certifications preferred: PMP, CM-Lean, CM-BIM, or related credentials.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Core Competencies</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Values &amp; Leadership</em>\n<ul>\n<li>Exemplifies RNGD’s core values: Renegade Mentality, Sweep Floors, Build Together, Honor Promises.</li>\n<li>Inspires high trust; listens well; remains accessible; and creates opportunities for unplanned actions.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Strategic Thinking &amp; Planning</em>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrates a systematic approach to accomplishing work; identifies and implements efficient methods for completing tasks; and organizes activities and people effectively.</li>\n<li>Accurately estimates the duration and difficulty of tasks; anticipates potential project issues; and ensures the team follows a realistic schedule and budget.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Emotional Intelligence &amp; Relationship Building</em>\n<ul>\n<li>Anticipates and understands the needs, desires, and intentions of others; builds meaningful relationships with others by leveraging emotional awareness; notices both verbal and non-verbal cues; and manages emotions constructively.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Analytical Thinking &amp; Decision-Making</em>\n<ul>\n<li>Uses facts and data to make and communicate informed decisions; synthesizes information from multiple sources; balances data with intuition and experience; and strives for a deep understanding of issues.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>RNGD is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</p>\n<p> </p>",
