That's why we're fully committed to inclusion across race, gender, age, religion, identity, and experience to drive us forward every day.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Trinseo is looking for a <strong>Logistics Leader</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The position will have responsibilities to include, but not limited to:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Run the Business</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Executing regional logistics strategy, to include, but not limited to:</li>\n <li>Engaging with Businesses and OF to ensure the organization delivers against service goals</li>\n <li>Manage the regional budget and local HR processes</li>\n <li>Directing the training the new Supply Chain organization and developing the desired culture (e.g., accountability, etc.) in the team</li>\n <li>Recruiting new recruits</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Change/Improve Business</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Working with Regional Functional and Process & Systems specialists, and EH&S drive continuous improvement of service, cost, and transportation safety</li>\n <li>Optimizing the use of physical and human resources to drive productivity improvements</li>\n <li>Working together with regional leaders for Logistics Procurement, Planning, and Customer Service create a customer-centric team with an end-to-end mindset, and focused on delivering business results</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Verantwortungsbereiche</h2>\n<p><strong>Run the Business: - 45%</strong></p>\n<p>Executing regional logistics strategy, to include, but not limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Engaging with Businesses and OF teams to ensure the organization delivers against service goals</li>\n <li>Manage the regional budget and local HR processes</li>\n <li>Directing the training the logistics organization and developing the desired culture (e.g., Proactive, Accountable, Agile, Collaborate and Engage) in the team</li>\n <li>Recruiting new recruits</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Change the Business: - 30%</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Implementing Trinseo Logistics Strategy in conjunction with Supply Chain and Business leadership, and Functional and Process & Systems specialists</li>\n <li>Implementing relevant strategic projects and locally initiated projects designed to improve service and cost performance</li>\n <li>Providing Regional leadership for transportation safety improvement programs</li>\n <li>Leading initiatives designed to raise the quality and competencies of logistics employees, and improve work process performance</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Compliance: - 10%</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assure Regional logistics activities are performed safely, in compliance, and in an environmentally responsible way, consistent with the logistics strategy</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>HR Responsibilities for People Manager including, but not limited to: -10%</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Directing all people management responsibilities including performance management and compensation.</li>\n <li>Accountable for improving performance, tracking and communicating deployment plans, and resource requirements.</li>\n <li>Responsible for setting direction of team and ensuring that actions align to and support organizational strategic objectives.</li>\n <li>Leading, training, coaching, motivating and rewarding team members.</li>\n <li>Creatively create a positive environment where your team members can learn and grow and feel respected and valued for their contributions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>External Relationships: - 5%</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Shared responsibility (with S2P) for relationships with 3rd party logistics providers, establishing contacts with regional regulatory bodies and industry associations, key customer contacts when required by the Business.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifikationen</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Education Required:</strong></p>\n<p>Minimum bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, Supply Chain, finance, or technology related field. Individuals with other relevant qualifications and experience will be considered.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Experience (years and type):</strong></p>\n<p>5-8 years of experience in a relevant service role (e.g. Procurement, Customer Service, or Supply Chain disciplines) preferred. Work experience in the chemical, safety or transport industries is a plus.</p>\n<p>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Process thinker</li>\n <li>Strong interpersonal and presentation skills</li>\n <li>Analytical skills and attention to detail (esp. in transactional processes)</li>\n <li>Results driven</li>\n <li>Service and safety focus</li>\n <li>SAP experience</li>\n <li>Previous leadership experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Equity And Inclusion</strong></p>\n<p>With our expanding global presence, cross-cultural insight and competence are essential for our ongoing success.
