NOV is a unique and special organization because of its outstanding employees, come join the NOV Family!</p>\n<p><strong>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Interface with relevant departments to obtain a thorough understanding of NOV products and how they are safely operated, tested, calibrated and problems are resolved in a timely manner.</li>\n <li>Travel to customer sites to inspect, install, commission, test, calibrate, repair and train customers on the safe and proper operation of NOV Mobile Rig Products.</li>\n <li>Perform field upgrades of software and hardware to NOV Mobile Rig products and train customers on how to properly operate the system.</li>\n <li>Communicate field failures and feedback reports to the appropriate departments.</li>\n <li>Complete and submit field service documentation in a timely manner.</li>\n <li>Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.</li>\n <li>Utilize safe work habits.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Install, commission, troubleshoot, and repair Well Servicing equipment.</li>\n <li>Provide training to other NOV Field Service Technicians.</li>\n <li>Provide accurate and timely reports to appropriate personnel regarding work progress and output.</li>\n <li>Work in repair shop when needed.</li>\n <li>Work in Field when needed (Afterhours and weekend call outs may apply)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>\n <li>Minimum 2-5 years’ Rig/ Well Servicing mechanical experience required.</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret pneumatic, hydraulic schematics, and basic electrical drawings required.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of how a drawworks operates and its components.</li>\n <li>Rebuild and service drawworks, clutches, and any other mobile rig equipment.</li>\n <li>Must climb up to no more than 120 feet when required.</li>\n <li>Microsoft Office knowledge is required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>JOB REQUIREMENTS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to pass a drug screen, background check, and physical.</li>\n <li>Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.</li>\n <li>Must provide transportation from home to the office. Transportation to customer’s location will be provided.</li>\n <li>Overtime will be required – must be willing &amp; able to work nights, weekend, and on-call 24/7.</li>\n <li>Able to work well in a team environment as well as self-directed when working independently.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties.</li>\n <li>Superior interpersonal and communication skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to interact effectively with customer and contractor personnel.</li>\n <li>Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and procedures.</li>\n <li>Ability to multitask in fast paced environment.</li>\n <li>Must be willing &amp; able to work in harsh environments including rain, snow, heat, and heights in excess of 120 feet.</li>\n <li>Must be able to stand, walk, reach, crouch, crawl or kneel for a minimum of 65% of the day</li>\n <li>Must be able to constantly lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift 50#</li>\n <li>Must be able to work around loud noises while using ear protection&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>COMPETITIVE BENEFITS:</strong>&nbsp;(visit usbenefits.nov.com for more information about our benefits offerings)</p>\n<ul>\n <li>401(k) Retirement Plan – NOV matches every dollar up to 5% of base pay and overtime for every dollar you invest.</li>\n <li>Competitive medical plans that are effective your date of hire.
