This accreditation through the <strong>Adult Congenital Heart Association (ACHA)</strong> demonstrates the highest quality of care our team provides for adults living with congenital heart disease.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Highlights:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide <strong>comprehensive, team-based care</strong> for adults with congenital heart disease in both <strong>inpatient and outpatient</strong> settings</li>\n <li><p>Serve as an integral member of a <strong>multidisciplinary Pediatric Cardiology and Adult Congenital Heart Disease team</strong>, collaborating closely with cardiology subspecialists, surgeons, interventionalists, APPs, and a broad network of specialty services</p></li>\n <li><p>Support <strong>pre-operative and post-operative management</strong> of complex congenital heart disease patients in coordination with interventional and surgical APPs</p></li>\n <li><p>Promote patient-centered care through <strong>education, anticipatory guidance, and family engagement</strong>, emphasizing lifelong congenital heart disease management</p></li>\n <li><p>Contribute to <strong>program development</strong>, ongoing <strong>quality improvement initiatives</strong>, and <strong>maintenance of ACHD accreditation</strong></p></li>\n <li><p>Participate in shared <strong>every-other-week call coverage</strong> with other physicians</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>About the BMG Pediatric Cardiology and Adult Congenital Heart Program:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>First opened its doors in 1977 as the first pediatric cardiology program on the west coast of Florida.</li>\n <li>Nationally and internationally respected with specialists in all areas of pediatric cardiology- including fetal, arrhythmia, catheterization,cardiomyopathy, transplant, pulmonary hypertension, cardiac imaging, preventative and weight management cardiology and adult congenitalcardiology.</li>\n <li>One of the largest comprehensive programs in the state of Florida, serving over 25,000 patients per year.</li>\n <li>State-of-the-art cardiac care fully supported by other pediatric subspecialty services.</li>\n <li>One of only two programs in the state of Florida to be accredited as an ACHD Comprehensive Care Center by the Adult Congenital Heart Association.</li>\n <li>Passionate, supportive and extensively experienced team of multi-specialty cardiologists, surgeons and supported by a team of nurse practitioners and physician assistants. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>Board Certified</strong> in <strong>Pediatric Cardiology or Adult Cardiology</strong></p></li>\n <li><p>Completion of an <strong>ACGME- or equivalent-accredited fellowship in Adult Congenital Heart Disease</strong></p></li>\n <li><p>Strong commitment to <strong>multidisciplinary collaboration and academic-quality clinical care</strong></p></li>\n <li><p>Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and documentation skills</p></li>\n <li><p>Eligible to obtain a <strong>Florida medical licensure</strong></p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Benefits</strong>:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>BayCare Medical Group offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package to attract and retain top talent.
