Rethink Billing Overview Our Billing Services Division specializes in Revenue Cycle Management, Enrollment and Credentialing, and Benefit Authorization Management services. We are growing and are looking for new team members that will offer our clients best-in-class billing services. We support mission-oriented companies that impact the lives of thousands of individuals with autism and their families. Job Summary The Director of Billing is responsible for the end-to-end management of initial claim submission, including claim creation, edits, and rejection management across all Rethink service lines. This role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant claims while maximizing clean claim rates and minimizing revenue leakage. Job Duties Oversee all initial claim generation and submission processes • Ensure timely and accurate claim submission • Maintain clean claim rate targets (>95%) • Lead clearinghouse edits and rejection management • Perform root-cause analysis on billing issues • Standardize billing workflows across the organization • Partner with coding, credentialing, and payer teams • Lead billing managers and supervisors • Manage and oversee both offshore and onshore billing teams Key Metrics Clean claim rate Initial rejection rate Days to bill Edit resolution time Qualifications: Education Bachelor’s degree preferred in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field; relevant experience may substitute for formal education Knowledge/Skills 8–10+ years of revenue cycle experience, with focus on billing operations Strong knowledge of claim submission, payer requirements, and denial management Experience managing both onshore and offshore teams Familiarity with billing systems (e.g., Tebra or similar platforms) Strong leadership, process improvement, and performance management skills Location:  Remote opportunities are available to candidates who reside in the following states: AL, AZ, AR, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, IO, MO, NE, NY, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA Our commitment to an inclusive workplace RethinkFirst is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing a workplace free from harassment and discrimination.
