    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Pacific Coast Producers,</strong> a growing agricultural cooperative with food production facilities across the West Coast, is seeking a talented and experienced&nbsp;<strong>Maintenance Electrician</strong> to join our team at our Production Facility in The Dalles, Oregon. PCP is investing in its people and advancing a culture of service, where each employee can do their best to make affordable, high-quality food for customers across North America. Our Salem facility produces maraschino cherries and other cherry products in various styles, colors, and flavors.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><strong>Hours of Operation</strong>: Full time/ 40 hours per week with some weekend and overtime hours required when needed, possible day or swing shift position. Retirement savings plans, including a defined-benefit pension plan is also provided to eligible employees.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Primary job duties would include:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Perform limited electrical maintenance and repairs of wiring, conduit, and various electrical systems.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot and repair or install motors, switches, circuit breakers, lighting, electrical outlets.</li><li>Install, connect, adjust and calibrate electrical gauges and recording instruments.</li><li>Plan layout and installation of wiring, equipment, or fixtures based on specs and codes.</li><li>Use a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices and testing equipment, such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, or test lamps.</li><li>Possess demonstrable skills for specifying and properly sizing of wire, conduit, circuit breakers and fuses per NEC and other applicable codes.</li><li>Read and understand blueprints and schematic diagrams.</li><li>Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components.</li><li>&nbsp;Troubleshoot and install VFD&rsquo;s, motor controls systems, valves, and other electrical components.</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLC&rsquo;s), verify operation of inputs and outputs on devices through the use of a test meter.</li><li>High mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools to perform repairs</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Job Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Completed a related educational degree, certificate, or program; and/or comparable work experience, plus formal training in this area</li><li>Holds applicable licensing and certificate(s)</li><li>A fundamental aptitude, which may be assessed by a practical exam.</li><li>Experience in food production and manufacturing environment&nbsp;</li><li>Able to understand and utilize PLC programs to aid in troubleshooting.</li><li>Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively.</li><li>Reliable and able to maintain excellent attendance.</li><li>Self-motivated, able to work independently, and possess strong problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to lift 50lbs, sit, stand, crouch, and perform job duties with limited assistance.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>About PCP Summary</strong></p><p>Established in 1971, Pacific Coast Producers is a cooperative owned by over 165 family farmers that grow and deliver various produce, including tomatoes, peaches, pears, grapes, cherries, and more, to production facilities in California and Oregon for processing and packaging.
