If you're looking to join a healthcare team dedicated to improving lives, we encourage you to explore this opportunity.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Operates, maintains, and repairs physical plant systems, buildings, and equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation in support of patient care and facility services.</p></li>\n <li><p>Performs general and skilled maintenance throughout the facility, including complex electrical and/or plumbing tasks based on current licensure.</p></li>\n <li><p>Repairs and maintains equipment across all building areas to ensure optimal functionality and safety.</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintains building systems, structures, and fixtures in a clean, usable, and visually appealing condition that enhances comfort for patients, staff, and visitors.</p></li>\n <li><p>Demonstrates working knowledge of physical plant systems to support effective troubleshooting and repair.</p></li>\n <li><p>Operates and maintains fire safety and life safety systems to ensure full compliance with safety regulations and organizational standards.</p></li>\n <li><p>Conducts routine testing of fire alarms, sprinkler systems, and other safety devices; participates in and leads fire drills.</p></li>\n <li><p>Prioritizes and completes maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner to meet customer and operational needs.</p></li>\n <li><p>Prepares and processes appropriate documentation for all maintenance and repair work, including work orders, records, and service logs.</p></li>\n <li><p>Plans, purchases, and tracks materials required for completing assigned tasks; issues purchase order numbers and ensures proper documentation (e.g., packing slips, receipts).</p></li>\n <li><p>Maintains a clean and organized workspace within engineering areas and ensures proper storage of tools and equipment.</p></li>\n <li><p>Moves furniture and equipment as needed to support facility needs.</p></li>\n <li><p>Establishes clear, courteous, and timely communication with customers, co-workers, and supervisors to support collaboration and service excellence.</p></li>\n <li><p>Reports any unsafe conditions promptly to supervisors and contributes to maintaining a safe work environment.</p></li>\n <li><p>Participates in educational programs, in-service training, and ongoing development to stay current with best practices and code compliance.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education: </strong>  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school graduate or equivalent.</li>\n <li>Additional education as required by license(s) held.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum four years work experience at journeyman level with comparable equipment and systems or completion of apprenticeship program. </li>\n <li>Additional experience as required by license(s) held.</li>\n <li>Hospital engineering experience preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Licensure</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Current valid applicable state driver’s license and a driving record that meets insurance carrier requirements. </li>\n <li>Oregon Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) license, Limited Journeyman Manufacturing​ Plant Electrician (PJ) license, Washington EL01 General Journey Level Electrician license, Oregon Journey Level Plumber license, Washington Journey Level Plumber license or Washington HVAC/Refrigeration (EL06A) license.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Pay Range</h2>USD $49.79 - USD $49.79 /Hr.\n<h2>Our Commitment to Health and Equal Opportunity</h2>\n<p>Our Legacy is good for health for Our People, Our Patients, Our Communities, Our World.
