By offering mentorship and robust Training and Development opportunities, IND<u>US</u> continues its pursuit to be the Employer of Choice. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Reporting to the Deputy Program Manager, the <strong>Chief of Supply Depot Operations</strong> is responsible for planning, directing, and supervising Supply Depot Operations, including storage, inventory, shipment, receipt, issue, turn-in, and maintenance all munitions in storage at the Depot. This role will ensure efficient and effective use of LMP to maintain accountability of munitions, munitions residue and packaging material. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is a <strong>contingent</strong> position expected to be located in <strong>Hawthorne, NV</strong>. The pay range for the position will be provided at the time the position is no longer contingent. </p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Reviews workload and backlog, plans and schedules work based on priority and makes assignments to, and monitors the daily performance of, subordinate employees. </li>\n <li>Plans, schedules and conducts periodic or special inventory of ammunition with organized inventory team. </li>\n <li>Reviews inventory and takes necessary action to correct discrepancies. Implements continued improvements of stock control and accounting operations. </li>\n <li>Maintains surveillance over stock control procedures and operations to provide corrective actions for those deficiencies and errors found. </li>\n <li>Coordinates shipment of munitions.  </li>\n <li>Recommends changes in shipment plan to higher echelons when the storage spaces are not available. </li>\n <li>Maintains close coordination with quality control activity for their necessary action and timely accomplishment. </li>\n <li>Ensures all the ammunition received or transferred is accurate in quantity and lot number. </li>\n <li>Develops and updates the Storage Plan and provides input for specific operational SOPs.  </li>\n <li>Perform appropriate key control and crime prevention procedures to reduce/eliminate potential for theft or loss of A&E. Maintain reference media as required. </li>\n <li>Report any significant or serious incidents to the DPM Ammunition Operations/General Manager immediately.  </li>\n <li>Collect data and provide reports as required by senior management personnel or the Government.  </li>\n <li>Interfaces daily with the onsite Contracting Officer Representative (COR), Quality Assurance Specialist Ammunition Surveillance (QASAS) inspectors.  </li>\n <li>When required, take appropriate actions in response to COR / QASAS findings. </li>\n <li>Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), all applicable laws, regulations, standards and codes imposed by the U.S. Government. </li>\n <li>Bid and proposal support if requested.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We're Looking For</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>An <strong>active</strong> secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.</li>\n <li><p>Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.</p></li>\n <li>At least six (6) years of supervisory experience in ammunition storage operations. </li>\n <li>Must have supervised a minimum of 50 personnel.</li>\n <li>Can demonstrate knowledge of storage/quantity distance procedures as prescribed by DA Pam 385-64 Ammunition and Explosives Safety Standards. Must have skill sets to enforce all class V regulatory requirements as described in, but not limited to, DA Pam 385-64 Ammunition and Explosives Safety Standards and DA PAM 385-10 Army Safety Program.  </li>\n <li><p>Must have knowledge of explosive safety, health and safety plans, proper munitions storage procedures, demilitarization operations, vehicle safety, and material safety hazards.</p></li>\n <li><p>Must be fluent in the English language with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations, generate reports, and develop plans, policies, and procedures.</p></li>\n <li>Must have a valid Driver's License in order to reach various sites on the Depot to conduct proper inspections and investigations after an incident or accident involving ammunition, explosives, and equipment.</li>\n <li>Must possess basic computer literacy and data entry skills. </li>\n <li>Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. </li>\n <li>Demonstrated problem-solving skills. </li>\n <li>Must possess strong time management skills. </li>\n <li>Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.</li>\n <li>Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to remain seated in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must also be able to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking.</li>\n <li>The ability to lift items that may weigh up to 50 pounds. </li>\n <li>The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods of standing, or recurring and considerable walking, stooping, bending, crouching, and climbing such as performing regular shop activities, inspections, or to observe and study operations in an industrial or comparable work area, or on-board ships, submarines, and/or in weapon facilities. </li>\n <li>The ability to operate heavy machinery and industrial tools with limited to no supervision.
